Getting Outdoors
RV camping at state parks makes exploring the countryside easy and enjoyable, particularly when there are well-marked hiking routes to use.Hiking is a popular pastime in the park, and there are four trails to choose from covering around eight miles in total. The easy 2.75-mile figure of eight loop called Orchard that passes through woods and follows parts of the Fallen Timber Creek.
Camping at Versailles State Park
The campground at Versailles State Park is perfect for camping with an RV, offering 215 sites that all have electric hookup. None of the sites offer a water connection, but there is hot water, showers, and flushing toilets available. Each site has a fire ring, plus you will find plenty of picnic tables and picnic areas.
Exploring the Area
The town of Versailles is located right on the edge of the park, across Laughery Creek and offers all the basic amenities required when RV camping at Versailles State Park. Along with a gas station, you’ll also find fast-food and traditional restaurants and diners. The larger town of Batesville is just a few miles north and has a larger range of shopping and restaurants.

Did not have to go far to find a comfortable and beautiful camper for Thanksgiving week. Our house is small so we needed an extra bedroom! Less expensive than hotel rooms and they we right outside to enjoy the holiday all together, they just needed somewhere to sleep. Could not have gotten any closer!
