22 ft. long

Meet Toad! He is an extra spacious, yet surprisingly nimble Ford Transit camper van who loves to take long trips through National Parks. Bring your bikes, climbing gear, and hiking poles to explore Montana. When you enter from the side, you’ll find a cozy living area fully equipped with a propane stovetop, bench seat for two, 360* swivel passenger seat, a deep sink with 30 gallons of fresh water, and a refrigerator/freezer combo; yes, that means ice cream. The lofted bed hosts a short-queen bed (situated longways for all the tall folks out there), two ventilation fans for the ultimate air flow, custom cabinetry for clothes and snacks, and a mega-garage to fit all that outdoor gear.Speaking of the garage, it was purpose built to travel with bikes, but the heavy-duty sliding tray makes accessing gear of all kinds a breeze. Through the garage you’ll find an A/C power port, as well as access to our outdoor hose with ambient temp water, great for a quick rinse off after a long hike, bike cleaning, or paddle board break down.If interested, we can send you a Vimeo link for a better look on the inside! What's includedEach rental includes fresh clean sheets, pillows, and blankets. For the kitchen, we supply cookware, utensils, propane for the stovetop, dish soap, sponge, and a pour-over coffee set up.Some extras include: one can of bear spray, slingshot, set of cards, basic first aid kit, and two camp chairs.Airport pickup from Missoula International available upon request with extra fee. Inflatable paddle boards also available upon request with extra fee. RecommendationsGlacier National Park is only a three hour drive to the north, but make sure you have all your reservations in order! There are also tons of camping spots along highway 83 with lots of lakes to choose from. If you're near Seeley Lake, make sure to make a stop at The Ice Cream place for a fantastic post-hike traditional burger and shake. Other things to noteThe van is a high roof AND extended-length, which means he is 22 feet long and way too tall to park in any parking garage. Please be mindful around tight corners, parking lots, and narrow streets. The van is capable of handling light gravel forest roads, but chunky gravel and major potholes should be avoided to not bottom out the vehicle. Additionally, please steer clear of fresh, sticky mud to avoid getting stuck (2WD).
Van must be returned with a full tank of gas. Otherwise, the cost of gas + $25 fee will be charged.
No smoking, $500 cleaning fee if you smoke in the van.
Sorry, no pets because one of us is very allergic.

This is our third van rental through Outdoorsy and our favorite van. Toad isn’t flashy, but has a straight forward, well designed layout, with everything you need for a comfortable adventure while being completely off grid. Brooke and James have thought of all the basics plus the best refrigerator that we’ve encountered. They were easy to work with and very accommodating. Ten days, almost 1,000 miles and everything worked perfectly = perfect vacation.

Toad the Van was awesome! We had it for a week exploring Glacier National Park and loved every bit of it. The communication with Brooke and James was fast and easy, the van was really well stocked and drove great. 10/10 would rent again.
