August 20251

This RV is in an absolutely ridiculous state of disrepair. When we picked up the RV there were some obvious signs of a great deal of wear & tear and it was definitely not 'clean'. However, we had a trip planned and didn't have any other options at that point. Soon after we started loading our belongings into the RV, we began realizing just how bad the state of this RV was. Not one, but two, entire cabinet doors fell completely off upon opening them. There were THREE screws sticking out of the walls at various places in the RV; to clarify, the POINTY end of the screw. The microwave did not work for the duration of the trip, but it RAN constantly producing no heat and would not turn off. The toilet was FILTHY when we picked the RV up and we then quickly realized it leaked from the bowl AND the base of the toilet. We had to clean the floor multiple times per day. The shower faucet was messed up. The kitchen faucet was broken and my husband had to fix it himself before we left. The leveling system did not work and the left rear stabilizer would not maintain pressure; i.e. we slept in a ridiculously unlevel camper for 12 days. The side table beside the passenger cab seat was literally falling off the wall when we picked it up, and had electrical tape all over it. It eventually fell completely off the wall. The gas heating element for the hot water heater did not work. The bedroom door was so warped that it would not close all the way, leaving us with no actual privacy the entire trip. The ABS system and cruise control stopped working 24 hrs into the trip. We spent $500 on a scanner to reset the system. A TV fell off the wall while traveling because the RV has no safety straps for ANY of the TV's. Our 13 year niece found a package of 'magic mushrooms' in the couch compartment, because the RV had not been thoroughly cleaned out. We had a blow out toward the end of the trip. The tire company told us the tires were dated as being manufactured in 2020, that every tire on the RV needed to be replaced and that he was shocked that was our first blow out. The waste tank valves leaked, leaving waste on the ground outside the RV at the campgrounds where we stayed. The host/owner of the RV was unresponsive and offered zero concern or apology for any of these issues. The list could go on and on. We paid a LARGE sum of money to rent this RV, that was advertised on Oudoorsy in brand new condition, but it was completely false advertising. The host has not responded regarding a refund, so I suppose we'll be taking them to small claims court. We spent half of our vacation dealing with the issues with this RV. STAY AWAY from this host! If they provide an adequate refund, I'll amend my review to at least state that they made the situation right after the fact.

We really enjoyed the RV, toward the end of the trip we had problems with the carbon monoxide sensor, other than that we throughly enjoyed the camping with grandchildren
