Groovy Penny! Peace, Love, and Camping!

Have a gas in our 1969 Shasta camper! Everywhere we go, we get thrown peace signs, double takes, and tour requests. She is always the talk of the trailer park.
Our mobile pad is a whomping 12ft long. She is super easy to tow, even with smaller SUV's , weighing in at about 1,200lbs unloaded. We added a luxury 14'' memory foam plush mattress that sleeps two. Just because you're camping doesn't mean you can't enjoy a good night's sleep. There is also a drop-down bunk over the bed. Camper is best suited for 2 -4 mix & match creatures. For our family, we sleep 2 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 big dogs (on the floor). As they say, a crowded camper is better than an empty mansion!
There is a cute table that can be taken out for more floor space. Inside the camper is a fridge (electric hookup) but can be used as a cooler or extra food storage. For a small camper, there is a good size closet for your clothes and belongings. She rings true to her name with a custom penny countertop. She boasts an awning with two plastic rugs to extend your living space.
You can plug her up to electric hookups to operate her lights, fridge and sink. But not to worry, you'll have most things you'll need for rustic camping too. There is battery operated lights placed around the camper and a propane heater to keep you cozy.
Upon booking, we will send you an inventory list of everything in the camper so you can pack accordingly. We will also send a video with how-to on everything you’ll need to know so you feel ready to relax.
Our camper has been featured in a vintage camper magazine and is also the logo for a vintage trailer restoration company. Not only is she a traveler, but she can also be used for weddings, photo shoots, or any event where you need a showstopper.

Meet your host, Erin

Hello- We are Erin and Jennifer Lind and this is our little rolling home. Rather than spending money on a week-long honeymoon, we bought our Shasta to give us a long-term honeymoon. Therefore, we are fairly attached to her. We've had some of our best days taking her out camping and we always look to camp before hotels. Like many of us, we work full time, have a daughter and dogs, and life makes it hard to use her as much as we want. She's too cool to keep under a cover, so now we want to share her with others.
Some of our favorite trips have been to Malibu, Lake Havasu, and Big Bear Lake. We enjoy simply sitting next to her with a fire pit, listening to soft music, and exploring nature and new places. Camping is the best way to experience the outdoors and relax. We hope you can have the same!

For weekend pickups/drop-off, we can be fairly flexible. For weekdays, we must consider our work schedules. Pickups may have to be early or later during the weekdays. I can work it out with you.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
She's pretty simple. But we will send you a "how - to" video to put your mind at ease before your trip.
