Board GamesRecommendationsOur favorite adventures with Fern:Hood River- Camp in one of Hood River’s beautiful campgrounds. Don’t forget to check HipCamp for some fun spots. Spend the morning exploring the Hood River Fruit Loop. Don’t miss Lavender Valley, Brown’s Blueberries, and Golden Row. Stop for lunch at Hood Crest Winery. Sample a flight and snack on one of their delicious wood-fire pizzas (featuring house made cheese and sausage). Finish the day with one out Mountain Barrel’s famous winery bike tours. Once you make it back to camp, prepare dinner in Fern’s sweet kitchen and eat around the campfire.Wine Country- Be sure to check out Hipcamp for world class wineries that offer camping. Tour the winery and visit the working farm before heading back to Fern for a mid afternoon nap. Don’t forget a good book to read while snuggled up overlooking the endless horizon of wine grapes.Oregon Coast-Tillamook/Garibaldi/Rockaway/Nehalem- This area is home to so many wonderful campgrounds. Nehalem State Park is beautiful and the trails are almost empty on the weekdays in early spring. Make sure to go crabbing or deep sea fishing in Garibaldi, grab dinner supplies at the Tillamook Farmers Market, and don’t miss the pristine beaches in Rockaway. Make sure to have brunch or dinner at Pirates Cove on your way home.Cannon Beach-There are several camps near Cannon Beach. The town itself has a swanky feel and is home to some great little shops. Don’t miss Staghorn Mercantile.Lincoln City- Lincoln City and Newport have all of the amenities of a big city but also have great camping. Don’t miss the Newport Aquarium and The Cheeky Cauldron (to get your Harry Potter Fix).Favorite Coastal Campgrounds-

5Fern was easy to pull and had everything we needed. This darling vintage trailer was quite the conversation starter at our camp ground.
