Vintage Winnebago VW Eurovan – Perfect Camper Rental Near Yosemite!

Mike was quick to respond to my messages within a few minutes. Upon pick up, he gave me a thorough run down on how to use the amenities and features his rental offers. Super friendly and informative. The rental was easy to use and I felt it was perfect for our first camping trip. We pretty much just used it to sleep in and used the water hose in the back to rinse off. The fridge stayed cold 24/7 even while the rental was off, so food didnt get spoiled and drinks stayed cold thru the whole trip. My kiddos had a blast and thought it was so cool to sleep on the top bed at night. Enough room for the wife and I on the bottom foldable bed to sleep comfortably. The ride was surprisingly smooth being it's a '99 model year and engine felt healthy. Taking turns on the windy mountain roads was a breeze like i was driving a smaller vehicle. It was such a pleasant experience overall with Mike and his rental.

Mike was a perfect host. Generous, flexible and thoughtful. The van was surprisingly peppy and easy to drive. Beware that it only takes premium gas and, for us, it was not available in the park. Also, we found the bed in the pop-up short and cramped. My 5’4” daughter was a tight fit. You’ll need a high step stool to get up there as well. The electric frig and propane stove worked great. The main bed is narrow and would be a cozy fit for 2 people but with 2 pads it was quite comfortable. We loved the tinted big windows and the window shades for privacy and also the back up camera and Apple Play that Mike added. I don’t think we would rent this van again but we had a great time.

Mike was extremly friendly and helpful. He went over all of the van features at pickup and made sure to explain how everything works. The 99 VW van was roomy, clean, had all the neccessary amenities, and drove smooth. Cooking was a breeze and the refrigerator stayed plenty cold. Yosemite was amazing and this added to the experience. Would re-book again in the future!

The RV was so easy to get around in and Mike made it so easy. Was able to pick out our kitchen items and bedding before leaving. The RV was comfortable enough for 2 adults over 1 week. Would recommend anyone going to Sequoia or Yosemite to use this van.

Mr. Mike was excellent from every aspect. Very professional, but also very friendly, provided us with more than enough things (extras) for our trip, besides good ideas and infromation. 10/10 all the way, highly recommended!!

We rented a vintage Winnebago from Mike to go camping for a few nights with friends. The van was outfitting with everything we needed and Mike was an exceptional host. Highly recommend California Van Life!
