Mike was a terrific host, and the camper van was a treat! He communicated with us well, was flexible in our arrangements, and gave us a ride to the airport on the way out! We really appreciate his thoughtfulness and effiiciency.

Made a trip to Sequoia, King Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks and the van made the experience so much better! Mike made everything very easy and communication was great. The van had all the supplies we needed and made things so convenient. I don’t think I can go camping without a camper van now! 10/10 experience

It was our first time renting a camper van and I can’t say enough good things about our vacation experience, it could not have gone better. Mike was very friendly, helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. I can’t wait to do it again, it was the trip of a lifetime. I would recommend renting a camper van from Mike Gonzalez to anyone.

Mike was quick to respond to my messages within a few minutes. Upon pick up, he gave me a thorough run down on how to use the amenities and features his rental offers. Super friendly and informative. The rental was easy to use and I felt it was perfect for our first camping trip. We pretty much just used it to sleep in and used the water hose in the back to rinse off. The fridge stayed cold 24/7 even while the rental was off, so food didnt get spoiled and drinks stayed cold thru the whole trip. My kiddos had a blast and thought it was so cool to sleep on the top bed at night. Enough room for the wife and I on the bottom foldable bed to sleep comfortably. The ride was surprisingly smooth being it's a '99 model year and engine felt healthy. Taking turns on the windy mountain roads was a breeze like i was driving a smaller vehicle. It was such a pleasant experience overall with Mike and his rental.

Mike was a perfect host. Generous, flexible and thoughtful. The van was surprisingly peppy and easy to drive. Beware that it only takes premium gas and, for us, it was not available in the park. Also, we found the bed in the pop-up short and cramped. My 5’4” daughter was a tight fit. You’ll need a high step stool to get up there as well. The electric frig and propane stove worked great. The main bed is narrow and would be a cozy fit for 2 people but with 2 pads it was quite comfortable. We loved the tinted big windows and the window shades for privacy and also the back up camera and Apple Play that Mike added. I don’t think we would rent this van again but we had a great time.

Our van was just perfect for us and Mike was detailed in his explanation of the systems. We hope to rent from CVL again. It drove really well and had everything we needed and more.

Mike was extremly friendly and helpful. He went over all of the van features at pickup and made sure to explain how everything works. The 99 VW van was roomy, clean, had all the neccessary amenities, and drove smooth. Cooking was a breeze and the refrigerator stayed plenty cold. Yosemite was amazing and this added to the experience. Would re-book again in the future!

First time renting a van And it was a fantastic experience. Matt spent plenty of time reviewing all of the components, let us pick whatever we needed from all of his camping gear to make sure we had the right necessary gear for our trip, and made the pick up and drop off as easy as could be. The sleeping beds were great for two adults and two kids and the van was super easy to drive up to Yosemite and back.
