Memories made on trips with Eric Prendeville's RVs

Eric is a great guy. Was extremely helpful and communicative. Van ran really good, pretty good gas mileage as well. If you’re taller than 5’10” you’ll need to sleep at an angle to stretch your legs, but it’s a big bed. Van is loaded with helpful items for boondocking. I would rent again

I loved being in this van so much! Eric is super awesome and nice! Having this van made my Alaska adventure so incredible, it was the perfect size for me and for what I needed. Definitely would pick this van again!

This is a great camper if you’re ready for outdoor camping with some hard sides.
While it certainly did the trick, we felt like there were some issues we weren’t prepared for. For example, the doors don’t fully seal. When it dropped below freezing one night, we were VERY cold. Eric had an extra sleeping bag, which helped, but we didn’t expect to need it.
The doors also only unlock from each individual exterior door, so you have to walk all the way around to let any passengers in.
Last improvement I’d have loved to see was some privacy covers on the windows. There is a curtain separating the bed for when you sleep, but it’s not fully enclosed and the back windows are still exposed.

Eric was a great communicator and provided excellent support leading up to making the booking and during initial pick up.
The Van is the perfect amount of adventure and comfort for a mission from Anchorage.

Great vehicle for the price! It's not new and showing it's age, but the car loves outdoors, felt pretty good and capable on the road. We had it for a week, went to Seward, then took a ferry to Valdez and drove to Wrangel-st Elias National Park and then to Denali. Positives: 1. the host, Eric, is very nice and flexible in terms of picking us up and dropping off. Having vehicle delivered to the airport door is awesome. 2. Very well equipped for camping: all essentials: water, shower, poortable toilet, shower, electric station with power enough to boil an electric kettle, gas stove, bear spray, camping seats and table and many many more I forgot to mention. 3. Comfortable bed and enough of warm blankets. 4. Best rearview mirror than in anybcar I've had. It's important) Negatives? It's an older truck, so it's noisy and has some scratches. Has some quirks while driving in town, but it didn't bother us at all. Overall we had a blast on the road and while camping

We had a great time traveling with Eric’s camper van! It’s very well equipped, which made our trip very comfortable, and it was affordable, too. The description of the van on the webpage is completely accurate, so you know what to expect. What the page doesn’t mention is how friendly, helpful and communicative Eric is. He was easy going, responsive and helpful, both before and during our trip. If you are looking for a true Alaskan camper van experience, Eric is your guy.

We had an amazing experience renting Eric’s minivan for our Alaska trip! The minivan was very comfortable and perfectly equipped for living and cooking on the road. Eric even provided two fishing rods with tackle, which was such a great bonus! We didn’t feel like we needed to buy anything extra during our journey — everything was already included.

sing the van gave us the freedom to do many types of fishing and hiking. We ranged from Soldotna and down to Homer, ending up stopping in Hope and ending up near Talkeetna. We caught all 5 species of Pacific salmon, grayling, Dolly Varden, and Rainbow trout. It was the trip of a lifetime!

Very basic van but had all the supplies I needed. Dishes, cooking ware, bear spray, camp chair, cooler, firewood, etc, very well stocked and organized. Interior of van still needed a few finishing touches but it got the job done and I was so thankful to have an affordable van option for my trip! Host was very accommodating!

The communication with Eric was great. Prompt response, helpful, very appreciated. The car is not new, but goes without any problems. You just need little time to feel it and adjust. After you just enjoy the drive. As for an equipment, you have everything you need for camping and more. Big power bank, fantastic shower with water that doesn't give you trauma even it is cold, but feels invigorating. Electric small kettle, all kitchen supplies, spices. Just everything. Eric provided all . As he was camping a lot he knew what is needed better than you. Enough pillows and covers for bad weather conditions, so you could sleep in warm bed. Fantastic quality linens. I was really happy camping with that car. Just take in consideration that the bed is long as wide is the car, so if you are very tall and there are 2 of you, the space is limited. I am 57y old single traveller and I highly recommend this car. Thank you Eric very much. I had fantastic holiday without any problems. Renata

The experience was good! The Van got us to where we wanted to go. It did have a few quarks to it when driving. It is an older van and has seen lots of adventures! Eric was super easy to work with and was very accommodating with our schedule. The setup has everything you could need…even a fishing pole which prompted us to get our State fishing license! Would absolutely rent from Eric again but perhaps a different vehicle if traveling many miles.

Eric was great to work with and the van met our needs. I would suggest that the van receive maintenance and some of the camping accessories in the van be updated or repaired. An extra blanket would be great and a simple two-burner stove would be better than the oven-combo as it's hard to move around.
