Fall decor for an RV Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it’s time to get in the fall spirit! Though it may not be a huge family gathering like some are used to, there are still ways to have a safe, socially distanced Thanksgiving with the ones you love. One way is to have an RV delivered right to your home! Take Molly Sim’s Halloween CarnEVIL for example. We bring the RV; you bring the decor!

Getting an RV delivered is a great option for a staycation, celebration, or guest house. No matter the use, once you’ve booked your holiday RV, the next step is to decorate! Here are some fall decoration ideas perfect for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving decorations

Whether you have an Outdoorsy delivery for you or your family to stay in for the Holiday, just a few small touches can make all the difference!

Indoor & outdoor RV decoration

Natural decor

Pumpkins, gourds, and squash are a great way to make your space feel festive, without taking up storage space after the holidays. Place some smaller ones inside the RV and the others around the outside for your own personal pumpkin patch.

Once the seasons change, you can simply compost your natural decor. Or maybe even turn them into a nice dinner or pie the day after Thanksgiving!

Throw pillow covers

Another way to add some festivity to your space without taking up too much space? Throw pillows. Throw pillow covers are a great way to change up your RV, rental or owned, for any holiday or occasion. Not to mention, this will had a homey touch to your mobile home away from home.

Leaf garland and lighting

You can find cheap holiday decor of any kind at a craft store or even at the dollar store. Something as simple as a leaf garland can pumpkin spice it up. Add a string or two of mood lighting, and let the festivities begin!

Table set-up

Now that the inside of the RV is nice and festive, it’s time to think about the outside. If you having an outdoor family gathering for social distancing sake, you can still make it nice and homey.

Whether you have a plastic table or a picnic table, a fall-themed table cloth can really set the tone. Another idea would be to get a plain brown paper to use as a table cover and have everyone write what they’re thankful for on it. Use some of the garland and natural decor as table decorations, and voila! Your Thanksgiving table is set.

Thanksgiving cooking

If you choose to cook in your RV or over a campfire, you’re in luck. There are plenty of easy campfire recipes to give you a taste of home on the road. And if cooking a huge Turkey is part of your tradition, it still can be with one of these creative ways to cook a Thanksgiving turkey.

Once your RV is decorated, and your turkey is cooked, we’d say you’re on the right track for the coziest socially distanced Thanksgiving celebration you’ll ever have!
