West
- 3/18/17–3/19/17: The Starry Nites Festival in Santa Barbara, California — With four stages boasting full schedules, as well as some pretty awesome displays of art, the Starry Nites festival is sure to leave you feeling the magic of creativity.
- 3/31/17–4/3/17: Desert Hearts in Warner Springs, California — With a focus on love and inclusion, everyone is sure to feel welcome at Desert Hearts. Come ready to offer acceptance to everyone you meet and you’ll be good to go.
- 4/7/17–4/9/17: Lucidity Festival in Santa Barbara, California — This festival focuses on connecting with the world around us through music, art, and various classes. All of these are things we should spend more time focusing on, so why not join the fun?
- 4/14/17–4/16/17: Coachella in Indio, California — One of the most famous music festivals of all time, this one is a must-see. It’s the perfect opportunity to make some new friends while listening to some stellar tunes.
- 5/18/17–5/21/17: Joshua Tree Spring Festival in Joshua Tree, California — With festivals twice a year, it should be easy enough to get to one of the incredible Joshua Tree festivals for some music and fun.
- 5/24/17–5/29/17: Lightning in a Bottle in Bradley, California — This festival aims to promote sustainability, personal health, social cohesion, and creative expression. All are worthy of promotion, in our opinion.
- 5/26/17–5/28/17: Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, Washington — A Memorial Day weekend tradition, this festival is a great way to get out and celebrate the season.
- 6/2/17–6/4/17: The Untz Festival in Mariposa, California — With a variety of yoga and meditation workshops to help you get into a relaxed frame of mind, as well as an incredible lineup of musicians, it would be hard not to have a good time at this event.
- 6/15/17– 6/18/17: Sonic Bloom in Rye, Colorado — As “Colorado’s premier electronic music festival”, Sonic Bloom is one you won’t want to miss.
- 6/15/17–6/18/17: Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Telluride, Colorado — Anyone who enjoys the laid-back vibe of bluegrass is sure to enjoy this weekend of great music.
- 6/16/17–6/18/17: Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in Boonville, California — The perfect festival for anyone who has ever wanted to travel, the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival features a wide variety of musical styles from countries both big and small.
- 6/16/17–6/18/17: What the Festival in Dufur, Oregon — With a mission to leave you feeling connected and inspired, What the Festival is an event that might just change your life.
- 6/23/17–6/24/17: Paradiso Festival in George, Washington — Any festival that claims to be “Where Digital Meets Nature” is sure to be interesting. Paradiso is just that, and as the name suggests, gives attendees a little taste of paradise to add to that interesting factor.
- 6/29/17–7/2/17: High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, California — An ideal music festival for kids and adults alike, this event features a fantastic main-stage lineup, as well as plenty of entertainment for the younger crowd.
- 7/8/17–7/9/17: The RIDE Festival in Telluride, Colorado — Stellar rock music and stunning views make this an amazing festival that every rock n’ roll fan should attend at least once.
- 7/13/17–7/16/17: Northwest String Summit in North Plains, Oregon — If you enjoy the sweet sound of string music, you are sure to enjoy this weekend of stringed instruments played by wonderful artists.
- 7/28/17–7/30/17: Watershed Festival in George, Washington — Country music is the name of the game at Watershed Festival, and they really know how to do things right.
- 8/4/17–8/7/17: Arise Music Festival in Loveland, Colorado — Arise is the perfect opportunity to cultivate a deep connection with nature. It’s also a great way to add to the beauty of the world, considering that the festival plants a new tree for every ticket purchased. How cool is that?
- 8/27/17–9/4/17: Burning Man in Black Rock Desert near Gerlach, Nevada — We think this quote really sums up the Burning Man festival: “Burning Man isn’t your usual festival. It’s a city wherein almost everything that happens is created entirely by its citizens, who are active participants in the experience.”
- 9/9/17–9/10/17: Russian River Jazz & Blues in Guerneville, California — Sometimes a bit of jazz and blues are just what you need. Russian River is the perfect festival for getting your fill of both.
- 10/5/17–10/8/17: Joshua Tree Fall Festival in Joshua Tree, California — The second of the two 2017 Joshua Tree Festivals, this is an amazing event that includes a wide variety of activities and events for all ages.
Southwest
- 2/3/17–2/5/17: Gem & Jam in Tucson, Arizona — This music festival is a dream for lovers of jam and electronic music. To top it off, it’s held on the same weekend as the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil showcase, making for a full and fun weekend.
- 3/3/17–3/5/17: McDowell Mountain Music Festival in Phoenix, Arizona — Not only does this music festival offer a ton of fun, it’s also an event you can feel good about attending. This is because the festival donates all proceeds to local charities.
- 4/6/17–4/9/17: Euphoria Festival in Austin, Texas — Workshops, yoga, and an amazing lineup come together to make the exciting Euphoria Festival in Austin.
- 4/6/17–4/9/17: Country Thunder Arizona in Florence, Arizona — The perfect festival for country music fans, Country Thunder Arizona really takes the cake when it comes to good ole’ country entertainment.
- 4/20/17–4/23/17: Old Settler’s Music Festival in Driftwood, Texas — “Featuring the best in Roots and Americana since 1987.” This is an excellent festival located in the Lone Star State.
- 5/26/17–5/28/17: Rocklahoma in Pryor, Oklahoma — Oklahoma is probably not the first place that comes to mind when you think of music festivals. Nevertheless, this unlikely state manages to put on a pretty rockin’ festival that you are sure to enjoy.
Midwest
- 5/13/17–5/14/17: Northern Invasion in Somerset, Wisconsin — With headliners such as Soundgarden and Kid Rock, you know this festival has got to be good.
- 5/19/17–5/21/17: Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio — An incredible rock festival with a pretty sweet lineup, Rock on the Range is one every rock music fan will enjoy.
- 5/26/17–5/28/17: Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois — Considering there is such a strong focus on camping at this festival, it is the ideal event for trying your hand at festival camping. On top of that fact, the fabulous music really rounds out the weekend.
- 5/26/17–5/28/17: Dark Star Jubilee in Thornville, Ohio — Gorgeous scenery, amazing craft vendors, and a great number of loving, welcoming people all make this festival one that visitors return to time and time again.
- 6/1/17–6/4/17: Nelsonville Music Festival in Nelsonville, Ohio — A perfect-sized festival, Nelsonville Music Festival offers music in a variety of genres as well as entertainment for little ones, meaning this event truly has something for everyone.
- 6/8/17–6/10/17: Blue Ox Music Festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin — Blue Ox Music Festival is a bluegrass, roots, and Americana extravaganza. The festival attracts visitors from all over the country with its wonderful list of offerings.
- 6/16/17–6/17/17: Eaux Claires in Eau Claire, Wisconsin — Art and literature join music in this two-day event to make the festival into a sort of creative melting pot for all to enjoy.
- 6/22/17–7/2/17: Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan — This amazing event spans two entire weekends, making it easy to get your fill of electronic and jam band music.
- 6/22/17–6/25/17: Country Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin — Just as the name suggests, this is a country music festival. However, it isn’t just any country music festival, it is one of the best around, with a lineup to rival a great many others.
- 7/13/17–7/15/17: Rock Fest Wisconsin in Cadott, Wisconsin — Presented by the same people who bring you the Country Fest mentioned above, Rock Fest is equally incredible but much more rockin’.
- 7/13/17–7/16/17: Country Thunder Wisconsin in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin — Another Country Thunder Festival, the Wisconsin version is just as fun as the Arizona one, and is sure to leave you with a spring in your step.
- August (Date TBD): Summer Set Music & Camping Festival in Somerset, Wisconsin — Featuring a collection of hip-hop, indie, and jam-style artists, Summer Set Music Festival is an exciting three-day event that is definitely worth seeing.
- 8/3/17–8/5/17: WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota — This festival is touted as “the world’s largest country music camping festival”. Therefore, it’s the place to be if you are into country music.
Southeast
- 3/2/17–3/5/17: Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Okeechobee, Florida — Held in a sunny paradise, this festival is the perfect place to go for some sunshine, warm days at the beach, and fun nights filled with good music.
- 4/20/17–4/22/17: Wanee Music Festival in Live Oak, Florida — Another opportunity to celebrate music in a natural Florida paradise, Wanee is an event that is well-loved by all who attend.
- 4/28-5/7/17: New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival — Danielle Gagne on our FB page says, “I’m going, but leaving the RV home. There are plenty of RV sites near by the fest though.”
- 5/5/17–5/7/17: Carolina Rebellion in Concord, North Carolina — This three-day event is perfect for hardcore fans of heavy metal and hard rock. If you enjoy music of this genre in an exciting setting, you’ll love Caroline Rebellion.
- 5/18/17–5/21/17: Orange Blossom Jamboree in Brooksville, Florida — This festival is a family-friendly event with a focus on helping festival goers “blossom” into inspired individuals over the weekend.
- 5/26/17–5/28/17: Country 500 in Daytona Beach, Florida — An amazing way to welcome summer, Country 500 is a wonderful country music festival that you won’t want to miss.
- 6/8/17–6/11/17: Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee — How could a festival with a name that means “good stuff” not be awesome? Bonnaroo is one of the biggest music festivals around, and for good reason too: It has plenty of “good stuff” to satisfy anyone.
- 6/21/17–6/24/17: ROMP Fest in Owensboro, Kentucky — A bluegrass lover’s dream weekend, ROMP brings in some amazing bluegrass musicians. It’s also host to a variety of interesting workshops, including clogging and flat-foot dancing.
Northeast
- 5/25/17–5/28/17: DelFest in Cumberland, Maryland — This family-friendly music festival aims to celebrate the rich legacy of McCoury music through a wide variety of performances and workshops which are certainly worth attending.
- 6/2/17–6/4/17: Dreamscape in Darlington, Maryland — The focus at Dreamscape is simple: self-expression and the acceptance of others. This is an event that encourages guests to step outside of their comfort zones and explore their inner beauty.
- 6/9/17–6/12/17: Mysteryland USA in Bethel, New York — Held on the original Woodstock grounds, Mysteryland USA is the perfect event for those who like to party hard to some good music.
- 6/9/17–6/11/17: Taste of Country in Hunter, New York — This enormous country music festival is featuring Miranda Lambert as a headliner this year, something that most country music fans would agree is pretty fantastic.
- 6/15/17–6/18/17: Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware — Firefly makes sure they give you the festival you want by giving the general public the chance to send in ideas and vote on various aspects of the festival. This results in a pretty spectacular event that everyone can enjoy.
- 6/15/17–6/18/17: Mad Tea Party Jam in Artemas, Pennsylvania — When you attend the Mad Tea Party Jam you will be transported to a natural wonderland of gorgeous scenery. The music is pretty incredible as well, and really adds to the experience.
- 6/16/17–6/18/17: Mountain Jam in Hunter, New York — Consistently rated as one of the top music festivals in the country, Mountain Jam offers a beautiful view of the Catskill Mountains, as well as a number of big-name artists.
- 6/17/17–6/18/17: Clearwater Festival in Croton-on-Hudson, New York — As the newest and largest festival of its kind, Clearwater Festival has things all figured out. It includes diverse music, storytelling, dance, and a wide range of other entertainment.
- 6/23/17–6/25/17: Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, Massachusetts — In addition to good music, this festival also boasts a full comedy lineup. This makes the festival even more interesting to see.
- 6/30/17–7/2/17: moe.down Music Festival in Turin, New York — The perfect way to spend your Labor Day weekend, moe.down offers three full days of great music and other fun activities.
- 7/15/17–7/17/17: Camp Bisco in Albany, Pennsylvania — Three days and nights and over one hundred performances make this festival well worth checking out. Just keep in mind, this is an adults-only event, so the kiddos will have to stay home.
- 7/26/17–7/30/17: Floydfest in Floyd, Virginia — World music is the theme at this diverse music festival. Enjoy songs from around the globe while hanging out in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
- 7/26/17–7/30/17: Big Dub Festival in Artemas, Pennsylvania — This festival receives nothing but praise from festival goers who say the vibe was what made the event for them. This is one that should be added to your bucket list for sure.
- 7/28/17–7/30/17: Newport Folk Festival in Newport, Rhode Island — Folk festivals are almost always fun events, and this one is no exception. With four stages of live music and plenty of food to go around, this is an event you’ll remember for years to come.
