As travel trailer owners, we had the stress and expense of outfitting and learning the ropes of camping. We have went through the beautiful Redwoods, stayed in the Mojave Desert, weathered snow at the Grand Canyon, visited the many beautiful springs of Florida, been to the amazing sandy beaches and have enjoyed Disney's Fort Wilderness. My wife and I wanted others to enjoy the beauty of Florida without the stress and expenses that come along with owning a travel trailer.I recommend families to look at the many beautiful state parks in Central Florida and along the coastline. Full Hook-Ups are great, Partial Hook-Ups are preferred, Primitive or Boondocking opportunities are possible. I really like the State Parks that have swimmable springs or the panhandle beaches. Other things to noteDogs are allowed, but with exception. We are dog people and love dogs. However, number and type of dog/s will need to be disclosed to us prior to approval. Dogs are not to be left alone in the unit unless crated and for no more than an hour.NO SMOKING!!!!If you plan to camp in a place without power, use of the generator is required. The camp queen bed is 74” long (6’2”) and the bunks are 72” long (6’). The renter has to be present to receive the rig, to go through training and sign the departure/return forms.Renter will be responsible for verifying ID through Outdoorsy to activate the insurance. We don't expect the unit to be spotless upon its return. However, we do expect our renters to have their trash picked up, messes cleaned, dishes washed and stored away, and dirty towels and wash clothes put in the provided laundry bag. Failure to do so will result in the Excessive Cleaning Fee of up to $50 (depending on time to perform such cleanings). After the initial departure, if the renter wishes to return the unit prior to paid return date, a refund will not be issued. The renter is responsible for maintaining and preventing the black/grey tanks from overflowing (damaging the rig). A mid-stay sewage service is offered if needed. The renter is responsible for the awning. Winds over 15 mph can damage the rails of the awning. The awning should be rolled up prior to storms to prevent damage. Falling branches and rips the vinyl of the awning as well as the door can rub a hole in the awning. The renter should take all precautions necessary to ensure the safety of the awning.

My family and I have travelled coast to coast in our Hummingbird. I grew up with parents that loaded up the travel trailer and had an adventure. Now that I have two little kids of our own, my wife and I wanted to give that same gift to them. Today, so much nature is lost to the eye as we stare at our cellphones and technology. We all LOVE Disney. However, we also like to get lost and find new places. So far our favorite destinations include the Grand Canyon and Mojave Desert Nature Preserve, where we camped in the largest Joshua Tree forest in the world. Locally, in Central Florida, we love Wekiwa Springs, Jetty Park Campgrounds, Blue Springs State Park AND Of Course Disney World Resort's Fort Wilderness! We are big dog lovers as we have two furry family members of our own. We have grown to love our Geo Pro, affectionately named Hummingbird by my daughter. We travel a lot, but while we are home in central Florida we want to pass on our passion and love for nature to others.

Over the years we’ve had some decent experiences in Outdoorsy, and a couple subpar. But Justin went above and beyond… we’ll definitely reach our next time we’re in this area.

Being a first time “camper” Justin took the time to explain exactly what I was to expect before I actually rented the RV. That was priceless.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host
Q.Do you allow towing?
A.
At this time, no. Delivery only, within a 120 mile radius from Winter Springs, FL.
Q.How does Delivery Work?
A.
I will tow the rig to your pre-registered site, set up the rig and then come break it down. Please pay special attention to campsites, because they all have check-in and check-out times (typically 2 PM for check-in and 12 PM for check-out). I'll need at least a hour prior to your arrive to check-in your rig, get it parked, leveled, and set-up for your arrival. I'll also need an hour to break down the campsite. We will keep this in mind when communicating and arranging times.
Q.How will we communicate?
A.
As soon as you book your dates, we will start communicating directly. This will include email and phone. First thing, we will exchange phone numbers so we can communicate appropriately. You will have my personal cell phone for ease of access to call anytime you have a problem or question.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Different campgrounds offer different amenities such as electric, water and sewer. We will discuss the best options for your booking (wish you will make). Full Hook-up includes Electric, Water and Sewer, while partial hook-ups usually just includes Electric and Water. It is important to keep this in mind, because the grey tank filling up too quickly can really be an issue.
