1.0This was our first experience using the Outdoorsy App and we had some struggles with the experience. First off, we were planning to travel in the RV, so we intentionally searched for one without a mileage charge / restriction. Most of the listings have that clearly highlighted. We had tickets and camping purchased for our trip. Once we arrived for the pickup, the hosts claimed there was a mileage charge for anything over 100 miles per day. This was not listed on the app, but the host would not work with us. We had to proceed with the trip with this surprise expense. In addition, we were told upon arrival that the awning on the camper has been broken for some time and could not be used. When paying this much for a weekend trip, surprise expenses and major items being non-functional make for a really bad experience especially when the hosts are unwilling to work with you on those issues.
