"PB" or Polar Bear as our kids call it is a converted Mercedes-Benz Sprinter camper van. We designed this van to adventure and spend more time outside as a family of four. The van has a bench seat behind the front seats with 3 seat belts (5 total in the van). The inside features a dining area that converts to a near king-sized bed. The kitchen area has a sink, induction stove, tea kettle, coffee pot and fridge. Available storage for all of your adventure gear under the benches and in the back of the van.The campervan is equipped with a solar package allowing you to operate completely off-grid. Conveniently, there are a number of USB outlets, 12v outlets and 120v outlets located throughout the van. This diesel rig is a dream to drive and is perfect for your ultimate road trip adventure. The front seats sit up high so you will have great perspective for the hours on the road.New for the 2023 season! A heat pump has been added so the van now has heat and A/C!There is an overhead remote controlled fan as well as a number of other fans that we keep inside to keep it comfortable when sleeping. Also, onboard fresh and grey water is limited to 5 gals each with a surplus of 10 gals fresh in external tanks if a refill is needed. There is an upper bunk/storage area that can accommodate 2 children or smaller adults up to around 4’8” without legs hanging over the end of the bed. What's includedLinens, cookware, utensils, induction cooktop, tea kettle, power inverter, outdoor shower, toilet (#1 only), USB outlets, 12v outlets and 120v outlets.RecommendationsLocated around 2.5 hrs from Wichita is Wilson Lake which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Kansas. We've taken the van all over the country in the few months that we've owned it. Going East from Wichita, it's been all the way to the Appalachian Mountains and down to the beach in Charleston, South Carolina. Our most recent trip was through the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Please note: The Campervan is intended for recreational purposes and not for medical related transportation.Other things to noteMust follow all rules of road for the applicable state the vehicle is operated in.

Meet your host, Adam

Hi! My wife and I love camping and being in the outdoors with our two girls. Traveling is something fun that we can do together that brings us closer together as a family. Some of our favorite go-to places are Lake Wilson in Kansas, Buena Vista, Colorado, Padre Island National Seashore and the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina.

This camper van has everything you need! As non-camper folk, we weren't sure what to expect but it was a comfy drive, easy handling unit. The hosts were top notch. Very thorough walk through and were happy to offer tips and trick of how to make the most out of our use of their RV.

This was our first time renting a camper van and we had a great experience. Pick up/drop off were very easy. Adam took the time to go over all the functions. This van is loaded with all the little things that made our trip comfortable ex. coffee pot with coffee. Setting everything up is very easy. We will definitely rent from them again.

Adam had a very good layout and setup for moving about the country comfortably. Adam was quite responsive to our needs. He and his wife were very accommodating to us.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The camper is equipped with an exterior 120v shore power hookup. On a recent trip, we were on the road for 14 days and only plugged into shore power once to charge the batteries because it was available. We ran the inverter all night for the trip to power 2-4 fans, cooked breakfast and dinner, made coffee, etc. Unless you are using a lot of electricity, odds are you will be able to operate just fine with the onboard batteries.
