I have so many happy memories of my dad taking me and my brother camping and fishing with the Cub Scouts. I developed a love for the outdoors—nature, the stars, wildlife—and the feeling of freedom when I would wander off to explore nearby woods, ponds, and marshes. I loved helping grow living things while building gardens and tending houseplants and my aquarium. For most of my adult life I lived in a city, working in an office, daydreaming about being outdoors. Photos and houseplants reminded me of the remote and wild places I wanted to be. After too many years of city life taking its toll on my health and spirit, I decided to fulfill a dream. I left the city and moved into an RV full time. I hit the road and started exploring one beautiful wonder of nature after another. Leaving the noise behind and being out in nature has been healing. It is a way of life that I don’t take for granted. I’m happy I get to help others connect with the outdoors through some time exploring in an RV.
