[Disclaimer - some pictures might differ a tiny bit as I have 2 setups totally similars beside the colour of the truck, and I haven't done a proper photoshoot of both units yet. They are exactly the same though][Important : please make sure you read in details the insurance that Outdoorsy provides, because it's NOT good in BC. I strongly advice for you to have an extra travel insurance covering rentals]Instagram : @retroridescanada

ps : This is a 30 years old camper-truck, so you can expect (especially after so many rentals) some small stains here and there or the camper to not be pristine clean every time (after all it's mostly an adventure rig). It did happen in the past that the previous renter didn't really clean all the dishes/glasses etc carefully. It's not realistic to go through every single plate and all between each rentals, but if that's really important to you, there's an add-on with which I will spend an extra hour looking at all this in detail to make sure it's perfect when you come in.What's included- Everything you need to cook, eat, drink etc
- 2 camping chairs (extra)
- Linens, duvet etc (extra)
- Baby seat (25lbs to 120lbs) (extra)

We had a good trip wit the red truck, it’s a old truck, that is the experience you are going to choose. As we wanted to enjoy the landscape and drive something else than the 1000 white campers on the road we got this one. Comfortably cruising Canada at +/- 90 kph. The mileage is a bit short so if you are planning on making a round trip calculate the extra fee, you’ll always drive more than you think. Furthermore the camper was quite clean, an periodically correct completely in style (1997). also the communication with Alex was clear and quick

Traveling through British Columbia with style ....And Alex made this possible! The Camper gave me and my three kids a cozy and safe home for three+ weeks. Alex was to all times available, very caring, helpful, and flexible. What an unvorgettable trip we had! We got very lucky to find this great rig and rent from Alex. Thank you again!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

Is the camper suited for winter ?

A.

100%. This is a 4 wheel drive truck, with winter tired. The heater is very powerful and will keep you warm and dry, there's a hot water system as well if you really need a hot showing after a rough day.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

It's pretty much totally flexible, reach out to me and let's figure something out

Q.

How does it work for power ? Can I stay off-grid ?

A.

There are solar panels (200w), and the battery is being charged with these, also while driving, and also when plugged in a campground. This is designed to be staying off-grid most of the time.
