My wife and I both grew up in Alaska and have spent much of our life exploring the state, our favorite, and a great place to explore with an RV is the Kenai Peninsula including Seward, Kenai, Soldotna, and Homer. Each of the towns has incredible scenery, hiking, biking, fishing, great camping spots and much more. Seward is our personal favorite, there are hundreds of full hook up camping spots right on the water, it is a very family friendly town. Spots book fast and are available online by reservation only. Reservations open April 3rd at 1000 AM AKST and you can expect most spots to be reserved within the day for the busy holiday weekends. There are two first come first serve city of Seward run camp grounds that you can usually get a spot in. For more info visit https://www.cityofseward.us/departments/parks-recreation/campgrounds. If you need any other recommendations feel free to ask, we are happy to help. Other things to note
