Welcome! Our right hand drive 4x4 van is the perfect set up to make your next adventure a breezeThe van comfortably seats five in the main configuration; however the fridge can be removed to seat an extra person. Both the passenger and middle seats can slide and rotate 360 degrees to offer more space for gear or for hanging out while parked. With the kitchen storage and the roof racks, there is no need to compromise on what you pack. The crossbars on top of the tent hold 100 lbs while open, so you don't need to worry about taking your gear down before bedEquipped with a house battery, an inverter, and multiple USB outlets to accommodate all of your electronics. The kitchen includes a 35L fridge, a two-burner propane stove, and a collapsible sink- making for the perfect cooking set up on the go or at a campsite. Foam inserts keep everything organized and quiet while riding down the road. The kitchen can be set up or put away in seconds, and there is the option of leaving the sink open to store dishes that you want to take care of laterThe rooftop tent is likely the quickest camping set up you could find, popping up in 30 seconds, your bed ready and waiting inside with a firm foam mattress and plush pillows. It provides a comfortable sleep no matter the season, windows on each side and a top vent to help regulate the temperature and avoid moistureInside the van, both rows of seats can be folded down and topped with our comfortable foam/air mattress for two more sleepers. The mattress fits perfectly so that you still have access to your kitchen and storage in the back, and the window covers give you privacy while you sleepOutside, between the awning and the rear hatch, you have 130 sq.ft of coverage so you can enjoy your time regardless of the weatherWe are excited to share our Delica, and are confident that you will love it as much as we do. I just finished a ten day solo trip in Josiah’s van and it was great! Love how easy it was to set up the pop up tent (I’m only 5’1”), the right hand drive was great on narrow roads because you could see how close you were to side of the road, and everything was very clean and ready to go. Kitchen was easy peasy and had almost everything one would need, I only used it to boil water in the mornings and make sandwiches. I had to buy a folding chair, knife and phone mount to make the trip more enjoyable so do note that. The off road tires were pretty loud over 70km but I also wouldn’t let that stop me from renting again. Josiah is a super nice guy and went over everything with me before I started my adventure. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful trip and the van was a big part of why it was wonderful. Fits 4 people comfortably - for traveling and sleeping and it fit all of our packs. Both beds were easy to set up and put away as well as the awning. The Right side drive was easy to get used to. The Kitchen was a great set up. The van did real well over the pass. Josiah was available when we needed. Vancouver is a Beautiful island.

The Gateway Van was a very good friend during our roadtrip ! We recommande it for sur ! Very easy to drive, despite the right-hand drive and perfect to park everywhere (he fit in small-car area). All the equipment is good quality and easy to use. Josiah was very responsive and helped us when we had questions, thanks again !

Had the best time on a week long road trip around Vancouver Island. Josiah was super helpful and responsive anytime I reached out, answered all our questions, and has an awesome set up that so many people commented on while we were on the road. We were a bit worried about the right hand drive, but it really wasn’t a problem at all, just took a bit of time to adjust to like any new vehicle. Highly recommend!!

Here is a few things to note for your reference on the trip: The vehicle has two settings for lock and unlock, the key has a lock and unlock as normal. The attached fob has a “I” and “II” “I” is for lock with alarm and “II” is for unlock alarm. If you lock it with the fob you have to unlock it with the fob otherwise the alarm will go off. The passenger seat and bench can move backwards and forwards and spin 360 The bench seat has a horizontally sliding knob on the front in the middle to move it forwards and backwards. The seat has to be all the way in the front position with the backrest up to swivel. Then you can pull the vertically sliding knob found on the left side of the seat right near the folding side seat to swivel the bench. The passenger seat slides with the bottom lever, swivels with the middle knob and reclines with the top lever. You can be aggressive with it in order to get it to rotate. Bluetooth radio password: 1234 The camp stove closes with the orange button on the left. Remember to disconnect propane when not in use. Do not use the 4x4 on pavement, only gravel, sand, or dirt. To put into 4wd high, pull over and push the gear selector forward. Begin driving, once the two green lights appear on the dash it is in 4wd. To go back to 2wd, pull over and drop the gear selector to the first position. When the two lights go off you are back in 2wd. A reminder that you are not covered by outdoorsy for roadside assistance on any unpaved/back roads. The crossbars on top of the tent hold 100 lbs while open We are excited to share our Delica, and are confident that you will love it as much as we do. Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

I can be flexible so long as there is enough time for me to show you the vehicle and clean it between uses. It will be a case by case basis

Q.

I love your van but I'm worried about the right hand drive.

A.

Because of the height of the van you have lots of visibility when it comes to safe driving on the road. Everything is exactly where you would expect it to be controls wise, except the tun signals and windshield wipers are flipped. Trust me when I say this will be the biggest issue, constantly cleaning your windshield upon turning.
