Our beloved van is a custom converted 1996 Chevy Astro. It's an older van but still a very comfortable drive. Our van gives you the freedom to explore and stay anywhere you want. It's great for a couples weekend/adventure or solo trip (pets are 100% welcome). Our van sleeps 2 people on one small-sized double bed. For a small van we have it set up with a lot of handy storage space. We've also got optional roof storage if you want (no extra fee)!
The van will be set up with basic kitchenware (pots, pans, foldable sink etc), portable stove (including extra gas), camping chairs, first aid kit, bear spray, inverter, power station with solar charger, solar shower, extra blankets and more.Depending on your needs and trip plans we also have optional camping gear you can rent for an extra fee - two person inflatable kayak (sturdy and very easy to use), tent (good quality and light weight for backpacking), sleeping bags, backpacking camping chairs, packable hammock, backpacks. You should download iOverlander before your trip, we've found some gems on it ourselves (free/cheap camping). We'll have your rental ready with a full tank of gas, please bring it back full - if you anticipate you won't have the time, you can add on a refueling fee and we'll do it for you (please note we take the actual refuel amount out of your deposit). We'd appreciate if you could shoot us a message when booking to let us know if your trip is going to be local (BC) or further out. What's included
