2006 Jayco Jay Series
This is our 2006 Jayco Jay Series 806 model.
It has always been stored indoors throughout all winters, so it still looks brand new in and out, even the vinyl/canvas pop outs still look new.
It works beautifully to go up and down, and everything about it is easy to operate. There is a recommended towing capacity of 2000 pounds for towing it.This trailer can be used at a campground with power connection, or if you prefer to live more minimally, the fridge works off propane and or battery or external power, and we include a small solar panel to help keep the battery charged during the day, for an off grid experience. There are the two main beds, 1 queen and 1 full, as well as the dining table that can collapse down and make another full bed. There is a sink with pump and water tank. There is no grey water or black water tank as there is no toilet. There is a propane powered furnace which works beautifully to keep it warm, weve had it out in -10 during a cold snap and it worked great to keep us warm all night. There is a stove top to cook inside as well as a mountable stovetop that can cook outside, both are in great condition. The fridge is smaller but it is deep so it holds a surprisingly good amount of food. There is a awning that is aftermarket that is actually bigger than what was intended for the trailer, so the awning is quite nice to sit under in the rain. This trailer is easy to tow, easy to maneuver, and we even have the tow mirrors for smaller vehicles to help see behind it while driving.2 inch ball
4 prong and 7 prong electrical hookup availableWhat's includedPots and pans and utensils and dishware. Some other odds and ends, cards, lighter, rope, candles.RecommendationsBoth at the campground or out in the middle of nowhere, this trailer works great.Other things to noteWe would love the heavy cooking to be done on the outside bbq rather than the inside stove, but we also understand that that cant always be done, but it is appreciated.

Michael was quick to respond to our questions. The trailer was perfect for our family of 5 (including toddler). The play pen fit perfectly!!

We had a great weekend renting Michael’s pop up trailer. For the dry camping we did, it was perfect to provide shelter for the long weekend with friends 15min from his residence. Michael was prompt with responses and questions and was thorough with his explanation of the unit. We would rent his trailer again in the future and would certainly recommend him for other travellers looking for a reasonably priced getaway.

Great little trailer, clean and everything worked as it should. So much better than sleeping in a tent!
