This Grand Caravan can safely seatbelt up to 7 campers, still with room for gear. What's more, no need to buy or pack a tent. Sleep upstairs in a brand new SmittyBilt XL 4 person roof top tent. completely water and windproof; the tent can be sealed tight for harsh weather, or opened up with 6 sq.ft. screened vents on 6 sides! A comfortable foam mattress is built in. Sure beats the hard ground and your best bed roll.Included is a huge 6x9' annex that secures to the passenger side which will still leave access to the sliding door of the van. Even the dog can camp in comfort! Use the area for additional gear, a camping table and chairs, even a motorcycle; all protected from the elements.Truly a four season mini-camper. Our family took to RVing about 7 or eight years ago and have loved every minute we've spent.
We originally tried through the rental market (before there was a sharing market.) We loved the experience but dreaded the expense of RV dealers.
This brought us to our first trailer 4 years ago. We used it as much as we could on weekends and it brought us on a 10,000km trip through Yellowstone, Colorado and Wyoming. The following year, 6,000km to Florida and back.
The only downside i it made us to want more and bigger family experiences. Hence this beautiful unit.
You really get the feeling that you're glamping in the lap up luxury. Plenty of space and comfort and for want of nothing.
We could live in this trailer. What's more, our experiences, technically and physically have given us valuable knowledge and skills in owning and operating a camper trailer.
We're new to the Outdoorsy site and look forward to sharing the RV lifestyle with everyone. This is living.
