Review summary
Responsive but inconsistent customer care
Lihua is responsive and quick to answer. However, two bookings were canceled on departure day, and one guest noted a lack of warmth, unexpected fees, and unclear communication about included amenities.
Easy to drive, well-equipped
Guests praised its ease of driving, comfort, and self-sufficiency, including a comfortable bed, cooling system, and solar-powered battery. However, one review highlighted significant wear & tear, brake issues, and malfunctioning sensors.

5.0The camper van was great! It's exactly what we were looking for. Drove to Joshua Tree and camped there for a couple nights. The host was great, really responsive and friendly/helpful.

3.0The camper had a lot of amenities given the size, though had many issues from wear and tear and a DIY maintenance and build. The experience overall with the host could have been better - the host was responsive, but not warm. The usual perk of individual customer care given with renting from a private owner was lacking. The owner did not include pillows, blankets or sheets which we did not realize until we had already started the trip. Contacting the host, we were told that it was an add-on that we should have asked for - communication prior to trip start seemed an obvious courtesy and communication for renting a camper. The host accommodated an extension of the booking which we were grateful for, but then attempted to charge a late return fee, as well as a toilet cleaning fee, despite us emptying the gray water. It seems a bit odd to expect the renter to clean the RV including the toilet. The camper itself met our needs due to size, shower, toilet, and stove, but there were def issues due to wear and tear and the build. We were informed with the checkin directions that multiple sensors were malfunctioning such as tire pressure. The brakes definitely needed maintenance and we had to drive with extra caution decreasing speed and increasing following and braking distance significantly to feel safe. A couple drawers kept opening during the drive, along with a lot of rattling. Minimal supplies were included - no toilet paper, no soap. The cleanliness was ok, but not adequate. Overall, it met our needs, but would prefer a bit more guest courtesy to make an enjoyable experience.

4.0Trip was great. Just 2 days at Death Valley- a 4.5 hour drive. Brought our own towels, bedding and utensils. Parked outside the park at a close, safe free location and drove into the park with friends. Driving the van was no problem. Comfortable and well-maintained. Only one thing- a cupboard door under the kitchen sink did not latch and slammed occasionally.
