Most personal insurance companies offer rental car coverage as part of your policy. This would be considered a van, not an rv to them.

No one is allowed on the roof. No Smoking in the RV. Our RV leaves clean with a full gas tank and emptied waste tanks. You must return the RV with a full tank of gas and in the manner in which it left cleaned and all waste tanks emptied. If the RV does not return in the same condition as it left, you will forfeit some or all of your security deposit.
