2017 Conquest - The Memory Maker (7 day minimum)

CoachbuiltSt Peters, MO
6 guests
Sleeps 6
25 ft. long
Pet friendly

Length of RV is 25' which is on the shorter end of Class C RVs, but laid out to sleep 6 adults. Since it is shorter, it is easier to drive especially in the city. The U-shaped dinette allows up to 4 people to eat around the table. Has platform attached to rear bumper which can hold bikes or additional equipment. Two bunk beds in the rear are stacked and great for kids or adults. Blankets, dishes and cooking essentials are also included along with a variety of other free options that are all coordinated with you prior to your departure. Some of those free options include a campfire grill, firewood and fire starters (Homemade), plus many things that I have found useful from 60 years of camping. This experience will help you make some great memories. I have also installed a Dish satellite receiver and an Amazon Fire Stick when rain keeps you inside. You will need to bring your own sleeping gear (Sleeping bags, etc.) and personal items.Suggestion: If you are going camping in the summer I suggest that you get sleeping bag liners. You can get them on Amazon for $10 - 25 or even some that are more expensive. These are like have a upper and lower sheet, cool, comfortable and easy to clean. If there are some cool nights I suggest having a blanket ready and you will be very comfortable. What's includedThe camper comes with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, utensils, 3 chairs, towels/washcloths, and numerous other items....all free. You just need food, clothing, pillows and sleeping gear, and personal items. There is also a full recliner that can be used for sleeping (however, it does not have a seatbelt) RecommendationsI love camping, so that is how it is stocked. I camp mostly in state and national parks as well as Corp of Engineer (COE) campgrounds. Other things to note7 Days minimum rental period for $150 per day. Willing to reduce rate for 28 or more days.

Meet your host, Wayne

Member since 2018

I have been a camper since I was a scout more than 60 years ago. I have had experience with tenting, trailers, truck camper, van conversions, and finally got a Class C motorhome. I love people and want them to enjoy the great outdoors as much as I have over the years. The greatest part of it has been raising 3 kids while camping and the memories that are made are irreplaceable. Camping brings families together when everyone pitches in to make it a fun experience.

I highly recommend working with Wayne and his RV, especially for anyone new to RVing. He is incredibly thorough and will provide everything you need to know about the ins and outs of living and traveling in an RV. His RV is a very manageable size and is very well equipped, also with electronic upgrades including a cell phone service booster for those out in the middle of nowhere moments. Wayne also happens to be very amiable, patient, and straightforward about things you need to know, and if there is something that comes up on the trip, he is readily available for communication. He will go out of his way to make your trip as easy and safe as possible. He sure did for us. You'll be hard pressed to find a better RV and experience for the price. Thank you, Wayne!

This was our first RV experience and from the time we made the reservation until we returned the RV after our trip, Wayne, the owner, made sure we had a great vacation. Beyond ensuring we knew the ins-and-outs of functional operation, and making himself available 24/7 if we had any questions, he included many optional items that we didn't own and wouldn't have thought to bring. Like the 10' x 10' pop-up tent, bike-rack and extra options for grilling beyond what was available at campgrounds -(among a lot of other things!) Wayne also shared some key tips that make for a great trip from his many years of RV camping. Our daughter LOVED traveling in and learning about how RVs work from Wayne. She especially liked the above-the-cab bed. It was like having her own room. Ultimately, finding Wayne on Outdoorsy didn't feel like a rental transaction, it felt like we had a family member who cared about our experience, there for us. The "Memory Maker" lived up to its name and Wayne played a big role in that. Thank you, Wayne. We'll never forget you or our RV trip to the Indiana Dunes State Park.

This RV experience was a first for us and an amazing one!
Wayne was extremely thorough, organized, and PLEASANT!
We were wonderfully comfortable in this RV (2 kids/2 adults). The kids loved the bunk beds. It had all the amenities and plenty of space.
Captain's chairs in front made both driver and co-pilot very comfortable for hours of driving. Lots of sleeping space: bunkbeds, above the cab bed, and the dining area/couch can become sleeping spaces too.
Wayne had lots of add-ons that helped us worry less: charcoal grill/BBQ tools, camping chairs, cookware, bedding, etc.
A/C and heat worked great.
As a first-time RV renter, I so appreciated Wayne communicating thoroughly the month prior to our trip getting us ready and then spending time when we first met going through all the features and specifics. It was good to know Wayne was always there if we needed anything.
Made some great family memories and learned a lot.

Wayne was incredibly responsive and helpful at all times. He is an honest and kind person, and I'd do business with a man like that any day. Thank you so much for your hospitality Wayne!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I am very flexible on pick-up and drop-off times. These are set when I call you to make final arrangements. If the times change I only asked that you communicate with me to reset the time.

Q.What sleeping gear do I need to bring.?
A.
Bring your own sleeping bag, pillows, and/or sheets. The large over-cab bed is quite large and sleeping bags are recommended. There is a ladder available to get into the bed. The dinette is easily made into a full size bed and it is possible to use sheets. The two stacked bunk beds will hold an adult up to 6 ft tall and sheets can be put on these bunks. SUGGESTION: Sleeping bag liners which I use and purchased on Amazon. They are light, store easily, washable, and great for summer evenings.
