Hello! First we want to say thank you for visiting Outdoorsy and our listing. My name is Jamie, and my soon-to-be husband is Bryan. We have two perfect pups, Tucker and Scout. We are both working professionals and bought this RV to help us take more spontaneous trips to some of the beautiful places we are so blessed to live near. Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We both work from home and are available to be completely flexible with pickup with plenty of advance notice!
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Yes! It's best to keep cab engine running when you get to your camp spot while you run auto leveling jacks. After you put jacks out, extend the slide. If jacks do not level and start flashing green lights, you may be on too uneven of a spot.
Turning the cab engine on will also charge batteries if you don't want to use generator.
As soon as you park, put E-brake on or systems won't work. Pull e-brake up and then push down so it's out of the way. When leaving, pull all the way up and then release.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric cord plugs into back driver side of RV and the campsite panel box. Always use surge protector. *Make sure breaker is OFF in panel box before plugging in. Plug in and then turn on.*
Do not leave black/grey tank open if hooked up. Only empty when leaving or 75% full. Drain black tank completely first, then grey tank. You can then hook hose to flush black tank.
Use elbow to connect fresh water hose (it's much easier to thread). **Always use water pressure regulator included**
Q.Can we tow a vehicle behind this RV?
A.
Technically this RV is rated to tow up to 5,000lbs. We do not currently have the equipment to flat tow a car behind. If this is a *must* for you, please reach out to us to discuss.
