This RV has been so accommodating. We're extremely busy people, we try to get out as much as we can but its not always possible so we figured we would share this incredible RV and the experience's it has brought us with like minded hardworking people that need a good getaway once in a while just like ourselves!

We have just returned from our trip to Vegas and finally had time to sit down and write this review and to say our experience with renting RVs and Outdoorsy was memorable would be an understatement. We were going to Las Vegas to attend Electric Daisy Carnival with a group of 30+ of our closest friends. We knew from the very beginning we wanted to rent an RV for convenience during the festival so we first reached out to outdoorsy and secured our RVs for the group in June 2023. We had never been late on payments and had a woman we were renting all 4 RVs from that we had sent payments to for nearly a year. There were no issues with the RV rentals until the week before we left for our trip. The first host we had decided the week before that since returning guests had reached out in May to rent from her that she would accommodate their large group first, which would’ve been fine if she had given us any heads up before the last second. She kept trying to shove our large group into smaller RVs where we physically would not be able to sleep the entire group because she wanted the other party of renters to be more comfortable. When we declined the smaller RVs due to necessity, she cancelled ALL of our RVs, not even mentioning it to some of the renters in our group. No heads up, just a cancellation last minute and left us high and dry. One thing I will say I’m grateful for is the effort and support from Outdoorsy and them trying to scramble last second to make sure we still had shelter and transportation during our trip. Miraculously, Outdoorsy was able to replace all the RVs for us and we were very grateful up until the day we were supposed to pick up the RVs. That is where our RV host, Brandon comes into the picture. I will start off by saying the positive about Brandon is that he drove a far distance to drop this RV off for us and showed up, ensuring we weren’t left stranded. When he did arrive, he explained very well how to operate the RV especially considering we were all first time RV renters/drivers. We had an issue where the first 6-8 hours we had the RV the AC wasn’t working and he did answer our FaceTime and walked us step by step through how to reset the breaker so we could have working AC. Now for the negative side of this experience; it started off when he was originally supposed to meet us at 9:30AM and informed us he was running late and would be able to meet us around 10:45 AM (which was fine with us). He said he was driving in high winds and could only drive 40mph, said twice that he had stopped for gas to make sure we had a full tank, and basically came up with every excuse in the book consecutively for about 3 hours as to why he would be 30 minutes late each time. For example, original meet up time was 9:30AM as I mentioned, he told us he had to stop for a milkshake and then supposedly dropped the milkshake in the RV. He eventually showed up around 1:30 PM with 15 miles of gas left in the tank. He was also supposed to drop his personal belongings off but due to the delay, he said it would be an additional hour and we were already behind schedule so we said don’t worry about it and just get to us as soon as you can. Before we met up with him, he told us his family had helped him deep clean the RV for us and everything was ready to go but as he was driving to us, he said he had to stop again and clean it because there was dog hair and coffee in there, again we said it was fine due to time restraints (and because we didn’t understand the condition it was truly in). When he did arrive with the RV, we were absolutely appalled by the condition of it. There was coffee spilt on the floor and all over the couch (which he did mention had spilt) but there was also tons of moldy food in the fridge, dirty dishes piled up in the sink, dirt and hair and filth everywhere, strange brown substances in the tub, and everything was disgusting. He did leave a broom and Swiffer for us luckily but we had to go back and buy additional cleaning supplies and deep clean the RV. Before we could clean it, we had to physically move this man and his belongings out of the vehicle due to his back injury. We spent over an hour moving his stuff out and most of it he couldn’t take with him, leaving us almost no storage for our luggage’s, food, etc. He also told us the RV would come equipped with chairs, tables, blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, etc. For an RV that’s advertised as sleeping 10 people, 2 of the recliners didn’t recline so that limited our sleeping arrangements, he left us 3 blankets that were stained and crusty and unusable, he did buy all new sheets for all the beds, but still only left us with 4-5 pillows, some of which were new, others were stained and disgusting as well. We had to buy blankets for the whole RV (which we left with him afterwards), pillows, and towels. Also, almost none of the outlets worked so we weren’t able to charge our phones, get ready, and have basic functionality within the RV (luckily we went with a group and could use some of the outlets in our friends RVs). As I mentioned above, he left us with only 15 miles in the tank so we asked for gas money as he had promised we would have gas and he offered us originally $30 which we said was unacceptable for a vehicle this size. He did end up giving us $100 for gas which luckily was enough for the weekend for us. When we arrived to the festival, our host (who knew we were attending this festival and had rented to other attendees in the past) left 12 large hunting knives in the cabinets that we had missed originally and security had confiscated them after giving us a lot of trouble since no weapons are obviously allowed in the campsites. Also, while driving the RV to the festival, the real reason the RV couldn’t drive above 40mph is because it desperately needed an alignment which made it dangerous for us to drive. He never made a drop off plan with us, but again, since he’s rented to festival goers before, he was aware this festival didn’t end until 11AM and we had to be off the fairgrounds by 5PM. We were rudely awaken by him and his wife’s repeated calls and texts before the festival was even over (before noon) saying that due to them having their dog, they couldn’t leave him with in the heat without AC so they needed to pick it up as soon as possible. Since we were sleeping and didn’t see their messages until an hour or two later, they decided to just show up at the campgrounds and pick up the RV from us. So we had to scramble and figure out other ride arrangements, pack, and get out of there as soon as we could to accommodate for our host. Due to that, we didn’t have time to deep clean the RV, yet it was still in better condition than the way we had received it. Overall, this experience was a nightmare but I am grateful we had shelter and transportation when we needed it. However, it is highly unlikely we will be booking through Outdoorsy again.
