2022 Tesla Model Y Performance
This Tesla Model Y Performance has a queen size air mattress, custom fit and made for the Model Y. It has its own built-in power pump, so it automagically inflates and deflates with a press of a button. With the front seats moved forward it provides ample sleeping area for two (I am 6 ft and have space to spare), the mattress is 5 inches longer than a normal queen size bed. It's the perfect road camping vehicle, as no one suspects you're sleeping in a Tesla (I camp in any regular parking spot), so you can stay right down town and skip the campground fees (wherever you camp is at your own risk of course). Since this is a white-on-white Tesla, I request you don't go places where you'll get her exterior or interior dirty. This is not an off-road vehicle (duh!) but great for city trips.Note, the way the rear seats fold down places the air mattress in a slight incline. I typically cancel this out by parking in an area with slight reverse incline, but even without it I don't find I notice, but you may.What's includedThis is a great day-trip vehicle that converts to a very comfortable bed at a moment's notice. It's like a hard-top tent, and doesn't come with a lot more than that. If you need camping chairs, a bike rack, or ski box, I have those at an additional fee.RecommendationsSo many places to go and see in the Bay Area! The wine country is a fantastic place to be, and with a 300 mile range and plenty of Tesla chargers everywhere, your options are near limitless.Other things to noteSince this is a meticulously maintained Tesla (always hand detailed, no car wash) with white interior, please no pets or kids or parties or festivals. This is the perfect couples road trip vehicle, not a party van. Any charging during your trip will be billed in addition to your rental (just like fueling up a regular vehicle, except Tesla automatically bills my credit card, so I'll just be passing that along).
