October 2024
1We booked this RV one month in advance and read the reviews and the description. All looked perfect. We made sure we let Michelle know where we are going and planned for our trip in the second half of October. When I picked up the RV, Scott, not Michelle, handed it over with very basic instructions and casually told me that the heater does not work. I told him that the reason I booked an RV is because we are going to camp in June Lake and the temperature at night is 14F. Scott replied that he has no other RV from the 7 that he rents and that the space heater should suffice. I asked if I can take pictures and he said it is not needed because he is taking them. We left and on the road there we had a bunch of loud noised which I understand are normal but it was at headache level. To add to that, as we were driving on the 14fwy, 4-5 screws came out from the ceiling over the driver and the passenger and the sun visors fell. We got to the camp site and parked the RV, slid out the pop outs and endured the freezing temperatures from 10pm until 7am when the generator was ok to be used since the gas heater did not start as it was broken. I attempted to get help from Scott and Michelle about the heater and about the sink water that was only trickling making it impossible to use. I was told that nothing can be done for the heater and that I should take the aerator out to fix the sink. I don’t know what an aerator is nor do I have tools with me to perform such task. We left the three kids we were travelling with in another trailer with some friends and slept in the 14F for 3 nights total. We packed up, slid the pop outs back in and drove back home with the same headache level sound. We reached home and I alerted the host that I will be at the meeting point at 6pm. They replied that they will come later to pick up and I should just leave it. I took photos and left. That evening Scott messaged me and said that there is damage to the canopy bracket. I went the next day to look and I told him that I did not see that when I left the RV and if there was indeed damage, there may be from the lack of support in the bracket. Watch out for this owner and their practices. Also, the RV is nowhere near to the description or pictures in the listing. Take care!

5We had a great time camping up in Ojai. Everything worked great, and with the slide outs there was so much room inside.

5Michelle & Scott were wonderful hosts! They quickly responded to my questions. They delivered the RV directly to my front door and walked me through all there is to know. We had a wonderful, easy, relaxing trip and we can’t wait to rent from them again!! Hands down - best customer service anywhere around!

5Working with Michelle and Scott was the best. They were totally helpful, communicative and easy going. I couldn’t ask for better hosts and I’ll definitely use them again.
