RecommendationsWe love Whitewater State Park, located just 90 minutes southeast of the Twin Cities metro area. There are tons of things to do and to explore: Hike Chimney Rock Trail for a scenic view of the Whitewater River, or take the Meadow Trail for a more accessible hike surrounded by dramatic bluffs. Relax at the beach for a refreshing dip in the cold, spring-fed water. Visit the historic Elba Fire Tower.LAMB'S RESORT & CAMPGROUND
Schroeder, MN (Lake Superior North Shore) Lamb's has been hosting guests for over a century. The grounds encompass 60 acres with more than a ½ mile of private Lake Superior beach and is the only privately operated campgrounds on the North Shore. Schroeder is a little over an hour east of Duluth and Grand Marais is just 30 minutes further east from Schroeder. Pets are welcome which is perfect for our family.

In short: Treat the camper like it’s your own, and everything will go great! No smoking or drug use inside the camper. Ever. You're responsible for any tickets, tolls, or tows—even if they show up later. Tire issue on the road? Let us know. If you think it wasn’t your fault, bring the tire back so we can check it out. Breakdowns happen. If you added roadside assistance at checkout, give them a call. If not, you’ll need to handle it—but either way, give us a quick heads-up. Before each travel day, give the tires, hitch, and connections a quick check. Better safe than sorry. We’ll walk you through everything at pickup and give you tips for a smooth trip. Yes, you may use the awning! Just be gentle—wind and rough handling can do real damage. If it breaks, you're on the hook for repairs and any missed bookings while it’s out of service. Toilet talk: Only use RV-safe toilet paper and plenty of water when flushing. Remember: "If we have to 'poke', you have to pay!" Holding tanks start out clean and empty. Gauges can be quirky, but if more than a couple gallons come back, we’ll need to rinse and re-empty—fees apply. Want to skip the hassle? Add VIP Express Return for $99. No cleaning, no dumping—just pull up, unhitch, and head out! Now that's VIP!!! Avoid strong cooking smells (like fish or greasy foods) inside—some odors don’t want to leave. Tidy up before you head back. Wash the dishes, wipe down counters—we’ll take care of the rest. Keep it under 70 mph when towing and no off-roading. Pets are welcome with approval—a pet fee applies. One, maybe even two!...well-behaved dog(s) under 45 lbs. Bigger dogs? Just ask! That’s it! Nothing too crazy—just a little care so you (and the next Adventurers) have an awesome Adventure! Check out the rental agreement for the details.
