Alpenglow: RAM Promaster

The van had everything that we needed and was perfect for the trip to explore the Olympic peninsula. The bed was comfy, the sheets were clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked. There were two warning lights that came on as soon as we started the vehicle that didn’t inspire immediate confidence: an oil change warning light and a left blinker light out. I remembered from another review that someone had mentioned the oil change light and the sticker was up to date, so we rolled with it. We checked the blinker and it worked so it’s likely a short. It would have been nice to have been given a heads up about these two items ahead of time and I would encourage Ethan to either get them sorted to tell renters ahead of time so that they have the confidence that they are about to start a road trip in a mechanically sound vehicle. Also, the van was not meticulously clean, but we are a bit compulsive about that type of thing and…it’s a camper. Other than those, everything was great.

This was a great van for our short camping adventure. Easy to handle and well-maintained. I also thought the bed was extra comfy! Ethan's communication was great and super helpful, especially since we were new to the Outdoorsy site.

Excellent Experience, easy pick up / drop off. Van was clean and had everything I needed. Before pickup an instructional video was shared showing me how to use the shower, and having hot water was awesome. Ethan even let me pick up some pillows that I left in the van 10/10 would rent again

Ethan’s camper van, the “Alpenglow”, is an absolute treasure! I spent three wonderful nights on the kids at Peninsula snug as a bug and a rug. The van has everything you need to cook to keep warm to keep ventilated swivel seats, comfortable queen size bed a camping toilet. The pro master van is easy to drive and I couldn’t be happier with this rental. Ethan is also quick to respond to questions and has three very clear quote how everything works” videos to explain the future features of the van if he is not available. I would give this rental six stars if I could! Thank you, Ethan for accepting me as a van renter. It was awesome

Alpenglow is a great little van. Ethan did a great job designing and constructing this gem! Highlights included the swiveling chairs which integrated driving and hanging spaces. The fridge and cabinetry were plenty big for our 4 night trip. It is better outfitted with kitchen gear than many AirBnBs! We loved the gear garage which swallowed our two bikes, camp chairs, firewood and far more gear than we should have packed. I really liked the induction cooktop which felt cleaner and safer than gas. It was easy to drive. We are now sold on the concept and are discussing the timing and design features of our own camper van.
