Turtle is a 2016 Silver Shadow Teardrop Trailer that is fully equipped for a luxury glamping experience wherever you can tow it. It comes fully equipped with a queen-sized bed, sink with water storage, 2 burner gas stove, a refrigerator, Ipad screen mounts, an A/C unit and enough charging ports to keep your gadgets charged up.The advantage that Turtle has over its larger brethren is that with a 1,200# base weight and 120# tongue weight just about any vehicle can tow it. We have no problem towing it with our Subaru Forrester.What's includedIncluded with this rental is full set of linens and pillows for the bed, extra gas for the stove, cooking and eating utensils, French press, cups and a small folding table, If you don't have a 2" ball hitch, we can provide one.Some things that can be included if requested includes 2 camp chairs, a fire pit with propane tank and USB powered string lights.If you'd like, we can also include a foldable toilet with bags. This can be a great option if you'll be exploring areas that don't have access to toilets.RecommendationsWe recommend taking Turtle to campgrounds with electrical and water hook-ups for the most comfort. The A/C can only be used when plugged into shore power. However, with Turtle's battery bank, taking him off grid is a great option too! The Bluetooth radio and all of the lights, refrigerator and fan run off the batteryOther things to noteWe love Turtle and we hope you do too, so please treat him like it's your own and take it easy on the road.

Turtle is adorable. We got lots of “OMG it’s so cuuuuute!!” Super easy to tow. The kitchenette makes mealtime fun. We had zero issues with the rental process or the trailer.

We had a glorious time in the north cascades in this beautiful teardrop. easy to prep and cook meals, and a very comfortable sleep. Towing was super easy, and we didn't have any issues with the battery running out on our 2 night trip. Thank you Laura!

Wonderful experience with the Turtle. We towed it up to Amabilis Mt Wenatchee NF on some well graded NF roads and it did swimmingly. Just beware the battery probably won't last an entire weekend unless you supplement the dometic fridge with ice if you're going dispersed (shore power wouldn't be an issue). Would absolutely rent the Turtle again 🐢

We had the best time with this trailer! It was our first time in a teardrop trailer and it worked perfectly. We are 6’6 and 6’3 and we had really comfortable nights of sleep and were able to stretch all the way out. It didn’t feel claustrophobic, which is what we were worried about. The kitchen in the back is more than enough space to create a great meal, we were surprised about that! It’s very easy to tow and maneuver, even with our RAV4. Loved that pick up was easy. The hosts did a great job explaining everything quickly and concisely and getting us hooked up and on the road. Excited d at the possibility of future journeys!
