Vinny is a custom-built Sprinter Van, ready for action. Whether you're headed to the beaches, the mountains, or anywhere in between, this rig will make your next adventure truly memorable. Vinny has a lofted, full-size bed, with plenty of space below for boards, skis, or even bikes. 350 watts of solar power will allow you to go off grid for days, exploring remote landscapes near or far. No hook-ups necessary! Vinny comes with a 50 liter fridge, a fan, a diesel heater, 24 gallons of water, and outlets for charging phones and laptops. We lived in this van through Colorado blizzards and a Chicago heat wave, and have designed it to stay comfortable in all four seasons.Vinny comes equipped with swivel seats and a bench, so that a few people can hang out inside comfortably. The cabinetry and interior design provide you with maximum storage and a light, colorful vibe. A sink and 6 feet or counter space allow for plenty of room for food prep and dishes. The Mercedes Sprinter is the ultimate #vanlife vehicle, with an efficient diesel engine, rear wheel drive, and high roof. Vinny loves cruising down an open road, and gets over 20 MPG on the highway. He can bump along dirt too, if that's where your adventure leads.Check out his Instagram! @vinnyvan_go What's includedVinny will always be stocked with 24 gallons of fresh water.Vinny will come equipped with a camp "couch," a propane camp stove, propane canisters, and a collapsible table. There will be linens and extra blankets for those chilly New England nights. Vinny has a bug net that can be used to keep the doors open and the pesky flies out on hot nights. Our pantry is stocked with olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, and Taza chocolate. Our kitchen includes two sauce pans, one large pot, spatula, ladle, mugs, cups, plates, bowls, cutting boards, kettle and percolator, Chef’s knife set, and a set of forks, knives, and spoons. Living in a van doesn't mean you have to compromise on cooking! We ate delicious meals throughout our van trip.We MUCH PREFER trips within New England. It gives us peace of mind knowing that our van is not too far away. Please inquire if you'd like to travel further afield in the Northeast. We do not rent to the van out for trips outside of the Northeast.Pickup after 12 PM, dropoff by 4 PM. Please inform if you'd like to adjust these times, and we'll try to be flexible. RecommendationsNew England has so much to explore! Below are some of our favorite locations and activities.White Mountain National Forest: 2-3 Hours from Medford. Excellent hiking, with 48 peaks over 4000 feet, and the tallest mountain in New England, Mt Washington. Try any of the Presidential Range peaks for some steep New England hiking and splendid views. In Fall the leaves will blow you away. In Winter, skiing is the sport. Nordic ski in Jackson, or head to Loon, Cannon, Cranmore, Attitash, or other spots for some fine alpine skiing. Favorite towns: Sugar Hill, Littleton, North Conway.Green Mountain National Forest: 3-3.5 Hours from Medford. See the best of the Green Mountain State! Camel's Hump and Mount Mansfield are two lovely hikes, and just about the best places for leaf peeping in October. Check out Burlington nearby. The little city is full of excellent food, and breweries abound in the area. If good beer is your thing, then Vermont may be the place for you. In addition, there is fantastic cheese, maple syrup, and local produce year round. Northern Vermont has excellent dkiing in the winter, particularly at Stratton Mountain, Killington, and Smuggler's Notch.Acadia National Park: 5-6 Hours from Boston. This is truly an epic trip. The coast of Maine is a magical place, especially in summer, and Acadia is in a league of its own. You can hike, swim, go out on sea kayaks or whale watching tours, and eat lobster to your heart's content. Acadia is quite busy from Memorial Day to Indigenous People's Day, so book early if you plan on camping. Want to skip the crowds, and still see the splendor of Downeast Maine? Travel to Deer Isle, or Cobscook Bay State Park. Far fewer people, incredible camping opportunities.Mt. Blue State Park: 3-4 Hours. The Mountains of Western Maine are way underrated, especially Tumbledown Mountain. Stop in the sweet little city of Portland on your way. The food scene here punches well above it's weight, and breweries such as Allagash and Bissrl Bros serve up quality beer. The Cape: 1.5-3 Hours. A busy destination in the summer, with beautiful beaches, lots of nice food, historic towns, and fun bike paths.Other things to notePlease NO SMOKING inside the van. When cooking inside, place the camp stove on the foldout table, and open the window vents and vent fan for maximum air flow.Pets are welcome! Any size could fit, but a small to medium doggy would likely be more comfortable.SUMMER RENTALS PLEASE NOTE: the MaxxAir fan is currently out of order. While we work hard to fix it, note that it still functions well as ventilation. The rear fan and portable fan provide airflow in combination with the vents.

My girlfriend and I traveled in our van for 9 months, from September 2020 to June 2021. Check out our instagram @vinnyvan_go for more info about our travels! We are lovers of the outdoors, and felt blessed to have a vehicle to explore so many wild and beautiful places in North America. We enjoy hiking, trail running, skiing, cycling, and anything in the water. We also love farmer's markets, sharp cheddar cheese, sunsets, dogs, podcasts, and a light rain. We can't wait for you to experience the joys of van life!

Wow! What can I say. This was the most fun I have had in years. We have never rented a sprinter van so we didn’t know what to expect. First off the van is well loved and a great road warrior. Sitting in the front your view is commanding!
The detail that Carrick and Haley have added to Vinie.. from books, french press to a wine opener, is above and beyond. We only needed to buy some towels and that was for our showers.
We drove all over the coast of Maine and this little van gave us no trouble. Gas mileage was great.
The bed was perfect size and comfortable for our old bones. Even the cassette toilet became my bestie in the middle of the night. :)
Carrick and Hayle were the most responsive hosts ever and were so understanding about our emergency. Easy to communicate with and very patient with all our questions. For our first Van Life experience this was a 10 out of 10!

We loved our trip in Vinny campervan. It was perfect in every sense. We had no issues in the van and van has ample storage and everything you might need to have easy smooth trip. Kitchen is equipped with all the essential utilities. There was enough water provided for doing dishes. The stove worked perfectly fine. Portable stove is so useful to cook meals outdoors. We cooked so many wonderful meals and enjoyed our time in the van. The little library is also fun addition. The bed is comfy. The van is well insulated for slightly chilly evenings. If you are looking into renting this van, I am sure you will have a great experience. Highly recommend!

We had a incredible experience renting this van. From the moment we booked until the moment we returned the van, it's been nothing shy of incredible. The van is perfectly designed, extremely comfortable, and I already look forward to our next trip. Carrick is a fabulous host.

We absolutely loved Vinny for our trip to Portland/Acadia National Park! Haley was an awesome host with great communication ahead of the trip. We flew in from the Midwest and Vinny had everything we needed for a successful trip.

Q.Is this van suitable for colder weather?
A.
Yes! Vinny is insulated, and has a diesel heater that vents outside. The heater can safely be run all night, and we've slept in the van comfortably even in single digit temperatures.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pickup is generally no earlier than 12, as we take time the to clean the van thoroughly between rentals. Drop off should be no later than 4 PM. If you communicate with us at least 2 weeks in advance, we can try to accommodate alternative pickup/drop off requests, but can make no guarantees.
