• Rivers End Campground
• Skidaway Island State ParkThere’s so much more to a Tybee getaway than the beach! Here are a few of our favorite ways to experience the island and Savannah.Bubba Gumbo’s — A laid-back waterfront favorite for fresh seafood, gumbo and true Tybee atmosphere.Zunzibar Tybee — Great food, drinks and a fun, casual island vibe.Georgia Coast Charters — Get out on the water for fishing, dolphin and wildlife trips, fossil and shark-tooth hunting and private charters.Tybee Island Water Sports — Jet skis, pontoon rentals, tiki cruises and plenty of ways to enjoy the water.North Island Surf & Kayak — Kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, rentals and guided adventures through Tybee’s beautiful marshes and waterways.Tybee Pier & Pavilion — Don’t skip the pier! Walk out over the Atlantic, watch the fishermen, people-watch, catch a sunrise or simply hang around and see what happens. We have a saying:“Something cool always happens at the pier.”We coined it after enough visits proved it true!Take a Day in SavannahSavannah Carriage Tours — See the Historic District by horse-drawn carriage and enjoy Savannah at a slower pace.Vic’s on the River — Southern and coastal cuisine in a beautiful historic setting overlooking the Savannah River.Forsyth Park — Wander beneath the live oaks and Spanish moss, visit the famous fountain or simply find a bench and enjoy the view.Wander the Squares — Savannah’s historic squares are part of the magic. Skip the strict itinerary, wander beneath the old live oaks and see where the city takes you.Our best advice: slow down, enjoy Tybee at island speed, get out on the water at least once, spend a day wandering Savannah—and always make time for the pier.Because something cool always happens at the pier.Other things to noteA Few Notes Before Your StayNo tobacco smoking inside the camper, please. Hi,
Thanks for taking a look at Nomadia. My goal is simple—to make your camping experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.
We personally deliver, level and set up Nomadia before you arrive, so there's no towing, no backing into campsites and no figuring out RV hookups. When you get there, everything is ready for you to relax and start enjoying your vacation.
My husband, Kenny and I fell in love with the Georgia coast and created Nomadia to share that experience with others. We've stocked her with the comforts we appreciate when we travel and are always happy to share our favorite local recommendations for Tybee Island and historic Savannah.
Whether you're looking for a relaxing beach getaway, a family camping adventure or a chance to explore the beauty of coastal Georgia, we hope you'll enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy sharing it.
Welcome to Nomadia—and remember...
Something cool always happens at the pier.
