Responsive, helpful, and flexible host
Mark is praised for his clear communication, smooth pick-up/drop-off, and providing thorough instructions/tours. He demonstrated flexibility, like allowing an early overnight stay due to a flight cancellation.
Smooth, powerful driving experience
The Mercedes 4x4 Sprinter van offers a smooth and powerful driving experience, handling mountain roads flawlessly with great fuel mileage. It's fully self-sustaining with strong batteries, comfortable bed, diesel heater, and ample storage.

5.0We had an awesome time in the Tetons, and this RV made it a breeze to scoot around the area. Never had to hook it up to anything. Fully self-sustaining unit. Great fuel mileage. Batteries kept it going all night and charged itself during the day. Bed was comfortable. Heater kept us warm at night in 27 degree weather. Drives great. Mark is a great host. 10/10 recommended.

5.0Marks RV Van was amazing! We took it to Yellowstone and Grand Teton and this baby drove so smoothly. Mark explained everything to us brilliantly but if we had any questions along the way, we could always consult the guide book. The van was clean, spacious, and the electronic/water system so easy to use.

5.0Mark’s van was rad. From the second we picked it up in SLC, this thing was dialed in for adventure, super clean, comfortable, easy to drive, and somehow both rugged and luxury at the same time. We took it through mountain roads, early sunrise coffee runs, dispersed camping spots, and long days exploring the Tetons, and it handled everything flawlessly. The setup was perfect: tons of storage, super comfortable sleeping arrangement, and all the little thoughtful details that made life on the road easy. Mark was also incredible to rent from…super responsive, flexible, genuinely helpful, and clearly someone who cares about giving people an amazing experience instead of just handing over keys. If you’re planning a Wyoming/Utah adventure and debating whether to rent a van… do it. And rent from Mark. This van turned a great trip into an unforgettable one.

The van literally has everything you could possibly need for any trip in any climate and all the previous reviews are spot-on. We highly recommend Mark and Blue Pheonix, and would 100% rent again next time we are in the SLC area. Thank you for a great experience! The van made our vacation immensely more fun and versatile.

5.0Mark is an excellent host who made our pick-up and return process smooth and easy. His Sprinter Van was thoughtfully designed by Thrive Crafted Vans of Spanish Fork, Utah. We spent 12 days exploring Southeastern Utah in Blue Phoenix. It offers plenty of storage beneath the very comfortable, cozy bed. There is a Laveo dry-flush toilet that slides in and out of the bench cabinet. The Victron Energy touchscreen displays the solar panel and battery status and makes it easy to turn the AC inverter on and off as needed. The house batteries provided enough power for interior lights, the fridge, and the induction cooktop. We also used the toaster and microwave. Common sense suggests not running the cooktop, microwave, and toaster at the same time. Additionally, turning on the water heater only while driving allows the van's alternator to power it, which helps conserve the house batteries. Remember to turn off the water heater when you stop; the hot water lasts a long time and stays warm into the morning. We did not need to plug into shore power throughout the trip. During chilly nights, we stayed warm in bed, but in the morning we turned on the diesel heater, which quickly warmed up the van. Blue Phoenix is comfortable, powerful, and fun to drive.
