Review summary

Highly communicative and responsive
Reviewers consistently praise Aprilmarie and Alberto for their clear, quick communication, thorough explanations during pickup, and responsiveness to any questions or issues, making the rental process smooth.
Driving experience requires adaptation
New RV drivers note it takes time to adapt to steering and braking, and it can bounce on rough roads. Fuel efficiency is low, averaging 7mpg in mountains and 10mpg on flat highways. Some minor repairs are noted, such as a small, broken shower door.

5.0We had a wonderful trip in this RV, taking in Yosemite, Sequoia, Las Vegas (took a separate day trip to the Grand Canyon), Malibu an then up the PCH back to San Francisco. We are from the UK, I have never driven an RV before, and found this to be quite an experience. It takes a while to get used tot he steering and breaking, some of the roads are not the best and it bounced around a bit. It comfortably slept the four of us and we did make a few easy meals using the kitchen. We didn't use the shower as it is a bit small and the door was broken, but all our stops had good on site facilities. The Oasis in Las Vegas was the best one for facilities and service. Aprilmarie, was great at communicating, and they are easy to find in a lovely part of San Pablo. We took the BART from San Fran to Richmond, then a Uber, about $20 to the house. The RV was ready on arrival, while it could do with a few repairs inside, it met our needs. It is a thirsty beast, up in the mountains about 7mpg and on the flat highway a max of 10mpg, bit of a shocker for Europeans:-) Overall we loved our trip, if you want to take in lots of stops, this is a great way to do it so you are not living out of a suitcase. A big thank you to Aprilmarie for letting us rent their RV.
