Drives smoothly, comfortable, powerful
The van is well-designed, clean, and fully equipped with amenities like solar power, insulation, and a heater. It handles smoothly, offers a comfortable drive, and has enough power for mountains, feeling like a second home.

5.0Spectacular. The vehicle is incredibly well designed. Fully off-grid capable, handles and drives smoothly like a van, and the most thoughtful and comprehensive design touches you could imagine. My sweetie and I rented it for our anniversary trip and it was a beautiful experience. The hosts were wonderful and organized, extremely accommodating as we changed our dates multiple times, and gave a thorough training and overview. No notes, amazing, will definitely rent again.

5.0Felt like home! More amenities than some hotel rooms. Comfortable drive. Not too much tech on the dash which was great since new cars can take a lot of learning to get used to. Held up to the rain and cold great. Sink came in handy but would definitely recommend to throw out the grey water before it gets full! If you're short like me, it can be hard to carry long distances. Sid and Linda were awesome communicators so I hope to rent from them again in the future!

5.0Did/Linda’s van was immaculate. The conversion had the real beauty of real wood and the real advantage of appropriate tech, solar that more than met our needs (lights, cooking, a bit of heating) and required no special knowledge.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Standard pickup time is 2 pm, standard drop off time is 12 noon. Flexible pickup and/or drop off times are available as an add-on. If you need both early pickup and late drop off, select a quantity of 2 when filling out the Flexible pick up/drop off add-on feature. Just let us know when you would like to pickup and drop off the van; we are able to accommodate most requests for times that work for you!
Q.
Do you have bathroom facilities in the van?
A.
Unfortunately, no, there is no toilet so plan your trip accordingly! All RV parks offer bathroom facilities of some sort, so this won't be a problem if you stay at an RV park. This only becomes an issue if you stay on BLM land or other location without bathroom facilities.
Q.
What options are available for cooking?
A.
There is no built-in stove, but we do provide two options for cooking: 1) portable coleman propane stove with 1 lb propane canister, or 2) dual-burner electric hot plate (1800 W). If you choose to use the electric hot plate, be aware that it will use significant power from the solar panel/battery electrical system. Fortunately, the solar panels charge the batteries quite quickly, or if you are connected to shore power, then you essentially have infinite electrical power.
Q.
What do I need to bring?
A.
Bring your personal items, such as clothes, toiletries, and food; we provide the rest. But don't just take our word for it, read our reviews and see what our other renters have said.
