What is a Travel Van? And how does it different than renting an RV, trailer, or other campervans?
Travel Van is a converted Campervan that serves as a mobile lodging option for travelers to enjoy a new way of recreational traveling. The powerful solar charging will enhance the battery charging during the trip. You don't need to haul your own car or rental car during your road trip. It is easy to park and drive like a large SUV in the city. It is easy to maintain and repair (& parts) like a regular car rental. It is built for travelers, not RV owners.
Why rent our Travel Van?
* The travel van is equipped with a 960W (3 x 320W panel) solar-powered system + a backup gasoline generator. This will enhance the battery charging significantly, and if you manage the battery usage well, and with a compromise of using the gasoline generator, you may skip a campground visit.
* Easy to drive and park wherever that is legal to park, including the city. No RV parking rules. Enjoy stress-free traveling. Go wherever you want, whenever you want without worrying where you’ll spend the night.
* The Chassis is a RAM Promaster cargo van, it is easy to maintain & repair (+ parts) on mechanical issues throughout the country. Not all repair shops will accept your RV rental for repair.
* The King-Size BED is just in the back, Feel at the hotel while on the road, you have all the hospitality from what our van will offer, contact-free.
* Extra large Luggage Room for travelers, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom.
What's includedFresh linens with 2 foam pillows and queen-size comforterThe Cleaning Kit for the duration of the trip. It includes paper towel (1), toilet paper (1), dish detergent (1), Sponges (1), garbage bag roll (1), cleansing towel (1), sweepers, all-purpose cleaner (1), pair of gloves, and face mask. All items must be returned at end of the trip.RecommendationsRV Campground Electricity Hook-up (110V outlet) or household 110v outlet is REQUIRED for appliances usage (i.e. Heater & AC).
Plan your water and electricity usage is essential for your enjoyment of the rental.
Always lock the travel van for safety.
Pull out the sliding closet to protect privacy when parking.
Check water tank level constantly.
Check battery life level constantly.
Turn off all the fuses or the main power system before connecting any input power from the outside sauce or the backup gasoline generator. Turn it back on after connection.
Other things to noteThe van provides a cassette toilet only, we would recommend using it for emergencies only, try to use the public restroom if possible. If you decide to use it, make sure you will clean it as soon as finished using it when possible.

Predatory owner, we rented this van for our trip to SF for one week. The owner was not there to do a key exchange, we used a lockbox. When I opened the truck up it smelled like cigarette smoke and urine. The seats were stained with bodily fluids and the shower had black mold. Immediately we told the owner we wouldn't be renting with him and to refund us fully. We waited in a parking lot by the airport for hours on outdoorsy support and continually tried to get out of the reservation. Jack has been belligerent and refused to refund us, he kept the rental going throughout the whole week.

Jack was very responsive to all my correspondence via email, text or a phone call. He always picked up the phone. He walked us through the van and we discovered that the refrigerator odor so bad that we did not use it. The cassette toilet was assembled backwards and we discovered that when I asked Jack to show us how to clean the toilet. On the van walkthrough Jack was showing us the fold up table and a screw fell out which he replaced on the spot. We did not use any of the appliances(pots, pans, microwave, etc.) or utensils since we had our own. We did not use the heater or the air conditioner. The van was extremely easy to handle on windy roads and had sufficient power. At our first stop there was water on the floor. We called Jack and he said he overfilled the water tank. We cleaned up the water and had no more water issues. We used the shower and it was great. We took two showers and used up about half of the tank of fresh water. Sleeping was comfortable. All and all it was a fantastic trip and the van met our needs.

Q.How do I pick up the travel van? And how do I find the free shuttle to the pickup spot?
24 hours before your renting date, we will send you the airport parking site provider, the parking lot #, and their contact information. When arriving at the airport, look for the airport parking shuttle van, i.e. ParkNFly, AnzaParking, etc. Hop in, and tell the driver your parking lot#, the driver will drop you off in front of the travel van. Follow the emailed check-in instruction to accept the travel van. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Q.Can I sleep anywhere or do I have to stay in a campground?
The beauty of our hotel on wheels travel van is the freedom it gives you to get off the beaten path and find camping on the fly. It fits in most parking sites and the cities, so you don’t need to pay more for an RV campground site. Another huge advantage is the “free power” setup, you don’t need to pay for the campground to charge our equipped battery. The 960W green solar panel can charge the battery for free, a 2000W back up gas generator for free as a backup charging option.

Q.What is a travel van? Why should I rent one?
Travel Van is a converted Campervan that serves as a mobile lodging option for travelers to enjoy a new way of recreational traveling. It DOES not require a campground to survive like an RV and or other campervans on the market. You don't need to haul your own car or rental car during your road trip. It is easy to park and drive like a large SUV in the city. It is easy to maintain and repair (& parts) like a regular car rental. You don't need to "Pay and Charge" your van battery.
