5.0We rented the van for our first trip to Coachella and I will absolutely be renting from them again. The van was clean upon pick up and they made sure we had everything we needed for our trip. They even went above and beyond by purchasing magnetic window covers so that we had privacy. They were gracious enough to include a table and 2 chairs with the rental which helped out so much. Everything is super easy to operate in the van. Van is easy to drive. The owners were so nice and answered all of our questions. My only suggestions would be to make the cabinet below the sink a little easier to open & possible a lighter weight a/c unit. I felt like I had to manhandle those two things. But otherwise all was perfect. I hope they make a bigger version of the van so I can rent it next year (we have an additional person wanting to go and they want to stay in a van since we had such a great experience). While the winds were blowing hard, we were nice safe inside our van. It was great because when you go to Coachella, everything is very dusty, but we avoided all of the dust in our lungs/noses because we didn’t sleep outside. 10 out of 10 I suggest renting from them. Treat the van well, she’s special!

5.0Rented this Van for a birthday trip to Santa Barbara and having the van and all of its features thoroughly enriched the experience. The Mercedes handles perfectly and the versatility of the interior build was perfect for cooking, dining, and relaxing as we worked our way up the coast.

5.0Had a great time taking the van to LIB festival. Although the portable ac couldn’t take the Bakersfield heat it was still significantly better then tent camping. The van was easy to drive. Hosts communicated effectively and were accommodating with change in our plans. Protip: don’t use the shower if you don’t have a way to get more water in the van cause one short session and we ran out of water. Overall, it was a good experience!

We have a really great video walkthrough of the van where we show you where everything in the van is, how the systems work, and what you'll need to know to make sure your trip meets your expectations. Our past renters have found the video so useful that by the time they come pick up the van, they have no questions and just want to get on the road as fast as possible!

What happens if there's a problem with one of the systems while we're on the road?

Managing off-grid systems as a first timer can be overwhelming, but don't worry because we've got over a decade of off-grid experience and can help fix most common issues remotely. If something isn't working as expected, just message us through the Outdoorsy app, and someone from our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
