5.0We had an amazing first van camping experience with Zona! As total van-camping newbies, we couldn’t have asked for a better setup or host. Keke was incredibly helpful and responsive from the very beginning — I reached out with lots of questions, and she was always attentive, patient, and quick to reply, which made us feel so confident going into the trip. The van itself is exceptionally well equipped. Everything you could possibly need is thoughtfully included — cooking supplies, coffee setup, fridge, shower, and more. It truly felt like a tiny, perfectly organized home on wheels. Zona was also surprisingly easy to drive, even for beginners like us, which made the whole experience feel fun instead of intimidating. One thing we especially appreciated was how thorough and clear the documentation was. The van came with detailed instructions, FAQs, and troubleshooting steps that were very easy to follow. On top of that, Christine gave us a super thorough orientation that helped us get started smoothly and set us up for success right away. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and an ideal first van trip. We’d absolutely rent Zona again and highly recommend both the van and the hosts to anyone considering van camping — whether you’re experienced or brand new like we were!

5.0We had a great experience road tripping up and down CA in this van. The van is in great shape, drives well, and had all the things we needed. We attended a campground wedding for a few days and saved the festivities a couple times with amenities from the van. Forgot a can opener? There's one in the van! No salt and pepper? In the van! Need to charge your phone? Come to the van! We were glad we got the mattress topper and would recommend. The bed was good for us, but check the dimensions if you're very tall. Keke was a great host and responded quickly to any message throughout the booking and the trip. We had a great experience, highly recommended.

Yes. All Toll Road fees, Fast Track fees and Bridge fees will be charged to the guest who booked and taken out of the deposit.

Does the owner cover Ad Blue and Windshield Washer Fluid refills or other maintenance while we are on the road?

All fluids and maintenance are up to date before your trip. Renters are responsible for topping off AdBlue and windshield washer fluid as needed, refilling low tires, addressing any tire damage, and completing an oil change if 10,000+ miles are driven. Please monitor for any dash alerts and reach out with questions—your help keeps the van road-ready and running smoothly!

Our van is 100% smoke-free to keep it fresh and allergen-free for all guests. If the interior smells like smoke, a professional technician will be hired and a $300 deep cleaning fee will apply to remove all allergens.

Can I take your rig to a music festival, Burning Man or Stagecoach?
A.
Sadly, our rig isn't set up for these kind of adventures. Unauthorized use of our rig at a festival will result in a deep cleaning fee of $1000.
