Review summary

Flexible, communicative, and helpful
Kevin is highly praised for his flexibility, clear communication, and accommodating nature, especially with pick-up/drop-off. He consistently provides all necessary camping gear for trips.
Great gas mileage, well-equipped
This 'small but mighty' 2010 Ford Transit Connect features a flattop griddle, refrigerator, solar panels powering a ceiling fan and lights, AC, and blackout shades. While storage is tight, it handles 6ft adults and is fuel-efficient.

5.0This small but mighty van made our 5 day camping festival really pleasant. The flattop griddle and the small refrigerator meant we could cook all of meals (we also brought two coolers with us). The solar panels kept our built in ceiling fan, small devices, the built in ceiling lights (so helpful), and our portable fans running all 5 days. - Other small details: blackout shades for the front windows, cup holders above the bed, magnetic hooks to hang small items, made the trip more convenient. When things got toasty, we ran the van and let the AC blast giving us a respite during the heat of the day. The camper handled two 6ft adult men in the bed, but it was definitely snuggly, so keep that in mind. 1000X better than a tent and an air mattress. There is a decent sized pull out storage next to the pull out stove, and a little bit of storage under the bed behind the refrigerator and a final spot above the drivers seat, However, storage was tight for us and we packed the van filled to the literal brim during our travel days with the rest of our camping gear. Next time I would probably take advantage of the tow hitch for more storage for a festival and our need to built a campsite. As a host, Kevin made the trip easy for us, was flexible and communicative.

5.0Kevin is a great host! He’s thought everything out in full detail. He provided everything I’d need for my camping trips. Head lamps, dish wipes, hammock, chair, tables everything for dispersed camping!

5.0Kevin and his van were both incredible! Exactly what we needed for our fly-in trip up the West Coast! Kevin made sure we had all the camping gear we’d need to maximize our experience. He was incredibly accommodating for pick-up/drop-off around our tight flight schedule. This van also gets great gas milage. 12/10, would recommend. Hope to be back in the future!

Frequently asked questions
Q.
Bluetooth/ CarPlay?
A.
There is CarPlay if you plug into the usb in the stereo head unit. Sometimes it blinks because it thinks it should be in night mode. If CarPlay blinks, use Bluetooth.
Q.
How do I open the rear doors to get to the pull out?
A.
There is a cutout that exposes a yellow button that will let you open the doors all the way?
Q.
Windshield and window covers
A.
There should be window covers for the side windows in the back compartment of the drivers seat. And there should be a windshield cover above the cabin.
Q.
What can I use?
A.
Whatever’s in the van you can use. There should be tables and chairs in the pull out storage, and extra blankets. There’s a smokeless fire pit w/ accessories, a jet boil to boil water, some extra lights as well.
