Q.Do I need a Generator if there is no Electricity at my Campsite
A.
Yes. If your campsite does not have electricity, you will need to have a generator.
RVs do not have regular electricity. They depend on Shore Power (campsite electricity) or a generator to have normal (120v) power.
Also note that RVs use 12volt batteries for things like lights, but in most units the batteries will only last a day or 2 with constant use without charging them again. Running a generator for a few hours a day keep the Onboard batteries charged up for use during the night.
Q.What is the Add-On for "Waste Removal Fee"
A.
This fee is charged when there is no Sewer Hook-up at the drop-off site. This fee covers the time and cost (if applicable) to take the RV to a dump site to remove the waste from after the rental.
**This is a Required Fee if there is no sewer at the drop-off site.
*Please not that this will be added to the Reservation whether you use the RV utilities or your campsites amenities.
Q.What is the Add-On for "Dry Camping Prep Fee"
A.
This is my fee for the time and cost it takes to prep the few things the RV needs when there will be no water or power at the drop off site.
**This is a required fee if your campsite does not have Electric or Water Hook-Ups.
