A great option for seeing the national parks! We had a group of 3 friends traveling for 8 days and the van was definitely a good value. Basecamper provided water, a yeti cooler, and a full camp kitchen, as well as sleeping bags, cushions, etc. The van is spacious and easy to drive, and we even got decent gas mileage for the trip (around 25-26 miles per gallon with the a/c going strong). A much better option than carrying our camping gear cross-country.

Owner was responsive, friendly and clear about his vehicle. Vehicle was in excellent condition and perfect for our camping trip. All items included were useful and convenient, making it easier for us to pack for our trip.

Here are some details: - If you have selected an insurance package, please make sure to become a "verified driver" before you arrive to check out the vehicle. If you need help with this process, let us know and we are happy to help. - There is a foreign transaction fee of 3% added to both the rental total and security deposit when using a payment card issued outside of the country in which you’re renting. - 125 miles are included with each rental day. Additional miles: $0.35/mile (0 - 250 miles), $0.65/mile (251+ miles). - Plan for the vehicle orientation process to take about 30 minutes. - Reservations are quoted through 2:00 p.m. on the day you are scheduled to check in. If you return later, the charge is $15/hr. The latest possible return is 5:00 p.m. unless other arrangements are made in advance. - Last checkout is at 5:00 p.m. SHARP! - Be sure to check our frequently asked questions: [URL removed] and read our rental contract before making a reservation. - This is a rate quote only; your reservation is not finalized until we approve your rental request and receive your deposit.
