Rules and policies
This Adventure van is easy and fun to drive, but it does require a little extra awareness. Please review and follow these rules to keep everyone safe and the van in great condition. --- 🚐 Driving & Safety, Mind the height – 10.5 feet, and be aware of low bridges, parking garages, drive-thrus, tree branches, and overhangs. When in doubt, don’t go under it. --- 🚐 Take wider turns, This is a long and tall vehicle. Give yourself extra space when turning and maneuvering. --- 🚐 Slow down for curves, If the speed limit drops for a curve, reduce to that posted speed. The van has a higher center of gravity, and taking curves too fast can cause loss of control and interior items to shift. --- 🚐 Maintained roads only, No off-roading. Please stay on paved or maintained gravel roads suitable for standard passenger vehicles. --- Before moving the van: ✅ Walk around the vehicle and make sure the power cord, awning, and bike rack with bikes is stowed properly ✅ Ensure all cabinets are securely closed. ✅ Loose items or unsecured doors can cause damage while driving. --- Fuel Requirements ✅ Diesel fuel only, Diesel #2 required. 🚫 Please avoid BioMass/Biodiesel blends if possible. 🚫 Using the wrong fuel will cause serious damage and you will be responsible for repairs. --- Tow Hitch Policy ✅ The tow hitch is for a bike rack only. 🚫 Do not use the hitch to tow trailers, boats, or other equipment, the trailer wiring has not been installed for towing use. --- Return Requirements, please return the van in the following condition: ✅ Full tank of diesel ✅ Toilet emptied and properly rinsed ✅ Gray water tank empty ✅ All rented equipment accounted for ✅ Interior reasonably clean and all personal items removed --- Drive calmly, allow extra space, and treat the van as you would your own home on wheels. A little extra attention goes a long way toward a smooth and enjoyable trip.
