Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can be flexible if there is not another booking that day, but we prefer to drop offs before 10AM and pickups after 2:30 p.m. This gives us time to properly clean and sanitize the van and get you on your next adventure!
Q.
Are pets allowed?
A.
Yes. Not only are they allowed, they are encouraged. Vanlife is amazing with a vandog. However we do charge an additional fee of $50 per pet (max 2) and only allow a combined weight of 60 pounds.
Q.
How does the toilet work?
A.
It has a composting toilet stored under the lounge seat. Composting toilets separate the liquid and solid waste. You will need to dump the liquid waste about every other day, but its easy (just pour it from the sealed bucket down any toilet.) No need to dump the solid waste, we will take care of it. Our advice, Number 1 only, unless it is an emergency.
Q.
Do you allow winter rentals?
A.
Yes! However with modification. Depending on where you are going, the temperatures may be problematic for the water system. There is a heater, but to keep the integrity of the van, we will shut off the water to prevent freezing the pipes. The van is still a great way to hit the slopes! We require ski equipment to be stored in bags to prevent damage from the edges. If you are not doing winter sports, winter coast camping is great in our van!
