3.0We really appreciated how accommodating the host was with our last-minute rental request. Communication was excellent, and they were very quick to respond whenever we reached out. That being said, there were several maintenance and cleanliness issues with the camper that we feel are important for future renters to know about. The septic hose had a hole in it and was stored together with the freshwater hose, which we did not feel was sanitary. The vent covers also need attention, as they were closed when we picked up the camper but opened while we were driving. There was also a noticeable squeaky belt that should be checked. The mattress could use a thorough cleaning or replacement. We also had an issue with plugging the camper into a GFCI receptacle, as it would immediately trip the outlet. Additionally, the water and waste tank gauges did not appear to be working properly. The fresh-water tank showed empty even when it wasn’t, and the black-water gauge also indicated empty when it was not. Overall, we appreciated the host’s flexibility and excellent communication, but we hope these maintenance and cleanliness issues can be addressed for future renters. With some attention to these items, the camper could provide a much better rental experience.

2.0We had several issues with this booking. The condition of the RV is not good. It had almost 500k miles on it. Screen door is missing a section. Broken panel inside with exposed nails created a hazard and ripped our sheets. Gas tank wasn't full and waste water had not been emptied. Propane was not filled. Windshield wipers need to be replaced. Engine has a loud squeaky belt, making the vehicle annoying to drive. Booking was overpriced for condition of the vehicle. 3.0Overall, the RV was comfortable and drove well but there were a handful of issues like broken latches, a broken mirror, a clogged faucet, and things left in drawers and cabinets that were inconvenient. Also had to fix a water leak after slow, unhelpful replies from the host. Hopefully this will drive better cleaning and checking of the systems in the future but I don’t know that I’d take the chance again.
