Meet Sagebrush Sally, the sweetest little desert dweller and home on the playa!
2005 Forrest River Sunseeker docked and ready right here in Reno NV!
As a burner myself I am particularly savvy at anticipating your needs and have realistic expectations of playa life/aftermath.
Sagebrush Sally is a cute lil thing. She's the perfect balance between spacious and easy to drive. Very low mileage and still a virgin of the Burn!
Although it can sleep 6, less is more in this case. A solo player, a couple, two couples, two homies or a family of four would have the best sleeping options. The overall rental cost, is all-inclusive. No hidden fees. No prep charge, no miles charge, no generator charge, no cleaning charge!
This Includes US Cleaning IT FOR YOU When YOU GET Back!! Yes that's right! The cost of rental includes the cleaning. Just pull in and hop out. (Basically)
The tanks will filled/emptied and ready upon departure. The cost also includes us dumping the tanks when you get back. (If you receive any tank service on the playa, that is on you. All dumping gear is on hand.)
Also this includes a full tank of gas, that should get you to playa and back to Reno. (Any additional gas is on you). Did I just say we got your gas?! Yes. Yes I did.
This vehicle has brand new tires! Roll out with a sound mind.
Engine was just serviced and all parts are in order.
Alas, even though this vessel, technically has an awning, THE Awning IS NOT Available for use at this event. Burning Man is super terrible on camper awnings, Sally's awning is in no shape for the playa, so please respect this boundary.

Dish water use, cleaning your feet, mopping up an accidental spill. Whatever. They'll come in handy, I promise.-the TV has a built in DVD player, and we'll throw in a couple of DVD's of our choosing in case you feel like being terribly boring. But hopefully you'll hate my selections and be compelled to go outside and play instead!Exterior/Front Porch

-3 x 6 standard folding table
-Variety of camp chairs.

You will have a much cleaner home to retreat to, this is especially important for people with allergies, because some dust-free breaks can be a game changer.) On this note, you may consider being a no-shoe home on the playa. Shoes are the culprit when it comes to bringing dust in. I personally like to dust my butt off and remove my shoes to do "preventative cleaning only". Its a bit annoying, but its worse having inescapable dust covering everything. On Request I can additionally provide....
-up to 10 duel covered bed pillows
-folding lounger chair for laying outside
-steel hammock stand
-a smallish cooler for transporting ice
-bike rack that connects to the tow hitch to transport 4 bikes
-up to 6, 5 gallon sized drinking water jugs filled with delicious filtered water. Thats 30 gallons! Plus whats in the tanks. - a water filter and hose for filling fresh water tanks
-grey/black water dump hoses. The complete set-up
-a box of fresh fuses
-basic tool set (this is more an emergency set intended for any problems with the rig) Please bring your own tools for any work around camp you intend!RecommendationsWith all that the RV comes with, it leaves you with a lot less to prepare!
I recommend...
-your favorite coffee cup/drink cup
-giant water bottle
-any additional bedding/sleeping bags/pillows
-your fly clothing
-your toiletries
-your clever food prep
-your bikes plus decor
-lighting for around camp (LED and solar powered is best)
-shade cloth, tapestries or other decor for "front porch"
-zip-ties, bungees, rope and duct-tape
-knife, scissors, exacto knife
-Charcoal if you want to use the hibachi grill.
-A camp stove with gas if you want to beat the heat and cook outside
-an inflatable kiddie pool for using outdoor shower. HIGHLY RECOMMEND a thick black liner of sorts for quick evaporation (although bypassing this completely and showering inside will save you this trouble.) NO WATER DUMPED ON PLAYA ALLOWED! If ya didn't know.
-a tool set for work around camp
-a bike repair kit (there is a bike repair "shop"on the playa, but they can get BUSY. Better to practice self-reliance.
-an additional EZ-up if 10x10 isn't enough
-POSSIBLY VERY IMPORTANT! You might consider a roll of sunshade foil window covering. (Thick and insulated like a car dash sun shield, but comes in a roll instead.) You will have to cut and tape them once there. I say this because, if you are hoping to sleep good parts of the day, be advised, you can't just run the generator all day and bask. It simply doesn't work like that. This isn't a luxury hotel. Its a freakin fiberglass boat parked in an insanely harsh environment. Having an RV is a HUGE luxury in itself, but they're only capable of so much. The generator serves for getting your through big task, at-home moments, but that's it. It's also considered terribly bad form to your neighbors if your blowin a stinky and noisy generator all over them throughout the day.
-Bring whatever else brings you joy!
_And remember kids, READ THE FREAKING BURNING MAN SURVIVAL GUIDE!!!Other things to noteAlas, even though this vessel, technically has an awning, THE AWNING IS NOT AVAILABLE for use at this event. Burning Man is super terrible on camper awnings, Sally's awning is in no shape for the playa, so please respect this boundary.
Other than that, all systems Go!We are looking for good quality humans, with whom we can develop a respectful working relationship, who have aptitude for comprehending the workings and systems of the RV itself. Everything is RV basics, but if you're not familiar… the last thing you want is to get stuck out on the playa Boondocking, and have something fail! The whole point in having an RV is to have running water, refrigeration, toilets, cool-air and all the delicious amenities. It's in our mutual interest, that things are cared for, and operated properly. At least one member of your party, should be the point person for taking the walkthrough with us, learning the systems, then overseeing/managing their operations in Black Rock City.
If you're Burning Man virgin, I want to know it!
That in itself, will not affect my decision in choosing a renter, but I could offer you some extra pro-tips on taking a rig of this caliber to the desert.
If you've never driven an RV, I want to know it!

Good for everything! Minimizing shower water use. (Take "sailor showers" by turning off water throughout shower. Get wet, then the bucket can assist with washing and shaving, then quickly rinse!) Dish water use, cleaning your feet, mopping up an accidental spill. Whatever. They'll come in handy, I promise.-the TV has a built in DVD player, and we'll throw in a couple of DVD's of our choosing in case you feel like being terribly boring. But hopefully you'll hate my selections and be compelled to go outside and play instead!Exterior/Front Porch
-9 x 12 ground cover mat with ground stakes included.
-entry doormat
-10 x 10 easy-up shade canopy
-3 x 6 standard folding table
-Variety of camp chairs.
-Hibachi grill.
-Charcoal chimney to expedite the grill.
-3 rolls of 3in exterior blue painters tape for taping windows and seams. (This idea serves me and the return as much as your time out on the playa. Dust gets in EVERYWHERE. If you take a few minutes taping up the windows upon your arrival, your entire experience will be upgraded.
(If you request this, please be specific on how many you need for drinking and cooking. Too many extra is cumbersome, space-stealing, unnecessary, and a lot of extra weight.)For the Engine and Coach Mechanics
-jumper cables
She's a pretty steady driver, but driving an RV can be a different experience. When we do our initial walk-through, we can also take a drive together to familiarize you with her.
We genuinely want you to have a great time! Black Rock City is a very special place on Earth. I am genuinely joyful in helping make your adventure great! Please let me know how I might additionally be of service in any regard.
There's probably more details I might not have mentioned, so lets get a dialogue going!
For your consideration on us doing business together....
I THANK YOU.

Hi! I'm your host Sita, and we are the Wicks family from Reno NV! Part homesteaders, part adventurers!
I frolicked for many years out on the playa in the early 2000's. Burning Man is special, it restored my faith in humanity, and I have walked the 10 Principles ever since.
I love how when you get back to default world, it's almost impossible to describe the sheer______, that you just witnessed! HA
It's THE BEST.
I started feeling sad for my sweet lil' rig, Sagebrush Sally, that she had never been. So I figured I would connect her up with some great people to send her home!
Are you hearing the call to meet some great friends and do some great business?! HollA!
