RecommendationsPick one to two stops in a week’s trip. Pack in your belongings in reusable grocery bags so you don’t have large duffels in the way. Pack light and bring quarters (laundry). Break down camp the night before (seriously) so you can sit and enjoy your coffee on your last morning. Breakdown (~1-2hrs) takes twice as long as set-up (~30mins).Other things to noteWe have a 65mph speed limit. Excessive speed by past renters has caused a lot of unseen damage. We lived onboard full time for 15 weeks fixing everything. We experienced a tractor trailer jackknife right in front of us. If we hadn’t been respecting our own rules, we would not have survived.

We loved it! This RV was packed with everything needed for a smooth trip. Easy to drive & good for a novice RV'er. The owner was terrific!

Kristie’s answer

So glad you two had an easy adventure. I was very pleased to hear the new loft bunk rebuild with 6” mattress is super comfortable. Happy trails!

Kristie’s answer

Brent, we are still sick over the ever present leak in the cab. We have been struggling with the repair shop for six months. Each time we think they completed the work, we find the leak is still there. So much heartache. I continue to hope that this will be remedied so I can host you properly. I hope the oil change and Five Guys gift cards help you forget for a minute. ;-)

This was our second time renting Lady Skipper and it was even better than the first. Kristie goes above and beyond to ensure your trip goes as smoothly as possible. The RV is super clean, extremely well maintained, and she is very responsive with any questions you have along the way. We had a great time with our two kids!

Our trip in the Lady Skipper was everything we wanted (and needed) and more. Kristie was incredibly patient with our first time RV-ing questions and random issues that came up. The Lady Skipper herself was a great friend during the trip and treated us well.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
We do our best to make the RV ready for departure in the morning; however, this is not guaranteed. We always recommend reserving the RV for the day before your planned trip to allow yourself time to load in your essentials. Same for returning during daylight hours so long as there isn't a conflicting reservation. Please give you and your family ample time to unpack the RV, clean, and return it in the same condition in which you received it.
