Nightmare Rental – Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Unfit for Rent My friend and I rented this trailer on short notice to aid in the search for her missing dog. The host was aware of our situation but given the condition of this trailer, she clearly was not concerned for our safety or comfort. This trailer was NOT as advertised and is not fit for usage. The trailer’s door lock was broken from the start — something the host mentioned but never repaired. We couldn’t secure the trailer from the outside, leaving us unable to leave it unattended. The second bed was missing parts and unusable, and despite hours of trying, we could not get the heat to work. The host admitted she’d never even slept in her own trailer and offered little help. The worst part: the sewage tank was full of waste from the previous renter. It was clear the trailer had not been inspected or cleaned before being off'ed on us for our rescue mission. We endured one freezing, sleepless night before returning it early — cleaner than we found it. Now, unbelievably, the host has filed a false damage claim against us. This experience was unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. Avoid this rental and host at all costs.
