5Dave was super easy to work with and very flexible with pickup and drop off times. The van was perfect for our weekend getaway with plenty of room for a family of three and a small dog. The van was clean and well stocked with cookware, dishes, bedding, pillows, towels, coffee, and even a grill, foldable tables, and camping chairs. Honestly, just bring yourself and a sense of adventure! Highly recommended, thank you Dave!

3The RV itself has potential, but there are a few things future renters should know. When I picked it up, it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly — the kitchen items weren’t washed, the grill still had oil in the pan, and there was some leftover trash from the previous rental. If you’re renting in the summer or hot weather, be aware that the back cabin can get very warm since ventilation is limited to two small windows. The AC only works with the generator, which can’t be run in most parks after 9pm, and it also uses a noticeable amount of gas when running. On top of that, the Winnebago Solis air conditioning system isn’t really designed for extended off-grid use. Because of the high power draw, limited solar and battery capacity, and poor insulation, the factory system requires external power to keep the roof AC running effectively on hot days. This made it tough for my dog, who was very uncomfortable the first night. I had to keep the doors open just to get airflow, which worked for one night in a safe RV park, but wasn’t practical for the rest of my planned off-grid trip. Because of this, I ended up returning the RV the next day. Communication with the host could have been better, and I was charged extra days while waiting on responses. Overall, I’d recommend this RV only if you don’t have pets and if your travel plans include campgrounds with hookups where you can use the AC reliably.

5Great RV! Good communication with owner. The van drives great and has all the cameras if you are not used to a big vehicle. The range worked great and the Weber grill was super convenient to cook outside the van. We did not use the shower, toilet, or sink (opting for camp facilities), but they had all the amenities. The bedding was great and both beds were comfortable. The loft bed for the kid was amazing and easy to use. She put solar fairy lights up there. We used the AC and it worked great too. Totally recommend.

5We had a great trip! The van was clean, and well appointed. The communication with Dave and Terena was great and they were always quick to respond with any of our questions. Definitely would rent the van again in the future!
