I'm originally from the east coast but have made the PNW home within the last three years. I am new to van life and would love to share the amazing experiences van life has to offer with other people. In my free time you can find me out adventuring with my Australian shepherd mix Billie. Ask me about my favorite hikes or go to spots in the area!

Last minute trip, not my ideal that turned into an epic road trip around Mount Hood to the Columbia River Gorge and back to Portland, all because we got lucky with a cancellation and were able to book Tricia's van. From my first message to drop off, Tricia was an exemplary host. She was quick to respond, gave us so many recommendations for our trip, and provided us with all the information on her van which has ALL the bells and whistles. Seriously, this van is an outdoors enthusiast dream! We didn't have any reservations made at campsites and this was the ultimate solution. We found either a dispersed campground or a vacancy at a first come first serve spot as we made our way around the route we planned. The region was having a heat wave when we came to town and luckily for us since we were not tent camping, we had the luxury of a/c and a very surprisingly ultra comfortable bed in the van. We were able to hit all the trails we wanted and feel extra secure in our private little mobile camper van no matter where we were. If you hesitant on driving a bigger vehicle, Tricia has this thing loaded with 360 cameras around the van to help you maneuver around. I am not unfamiliar with driving oversized vehicles, but any hesitation was thrown out the window once I got into the driver's seat and hit the road. Seriously, if you wanna travel around Oregon and explore the outdoors, this is the way to go. I have yet to repeat hitting up a host on any platform, but Tricia's tricked out van and her easy going and kind host etiquette has gained a repeat customer to visit her state and rent her van! Really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this trip in this van!

We had such a great trip with Tricia’s van! It was so much better than text camping. All the features were amazing, having electricity was great. My wife uses a CPAP and we had plenty of power for 3 nights without recharging except for a few hours of sun. Game changer. Very comfortable all around and easy to drive. Tricia was fantastic to work with too! Thanks!
Tricia’s answer
I’m so glad you guys had a good weekend of camping. I hope to work with you guys again in the future!

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
There is a plug that connects to the Goal Zero battery so you can charge it while you are at a campground if it is cloudy. If the sun is out there will be plenty of power coming in from the 3 solar panels on the roof. There is a 20 gallon fresh water tank and a 5 gallon grey water tank. The water tank will be prefilled for you.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
This van was specifically made to be rented out so the ins and outs on how the van works are very simple requiring only a few buttons.
