The Revel is the newest addition to the fleet and is also our burliest, most equipped campervan that we offer. Designed specifically for active outdoor enthusiasts, the all-new Revel takes a no-nonsense approach to adventure camping. Taking full advantage of the proven 4 wheel drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, the Revel’s 3-liter turbo-diesel puts 325 lbs./ft. of torque through an on-demand 4WD system, complete with high/low range mode for added drivability in all conditions. Inside, the Revel’s unique features start with a floorplan designed around a 140-cu. ft. gear garage with a power lift bed. A full galley, including a 2.5-cu. ft. compressor refrigerator, induction cook top and sink, makes meal prep a breeze. While the all-in-one wet bath and gear closet boasts a cassette-style toilet that eliminates the need for a separate black water holding tank. Adding to the list the standard 200-watt solar power system, diesel-powered heating, a dinette with a pull-up table that converts to additional sleeping space, as well as many more innovative features, makes the Revel the most off-road capable RV on the road today. In camp, set up your awning with the push of a button. Built-in LED lighting illuminates your campsite, and the integrated wind sensor automatically retracts the awning when it gets gusty. The exterior shower with hot and cold settings lets you rinse away the day’s dust. There are rear and side door screen attachments to let fresh air into the cabin will keeping the bugs out.Swivel cab seats and a pull-up table make the Revel’s lounge area a comfortable place to rev up for, or unwind after, the day’s adventures. Dual-pane acrylic awning windows with shades allow the windows to be opened for ventilation, even in rain, while snap-in screens on sliding and rear doors let the breeze in while keeping the bugs out. When the weather turns, the diesel-fired heating system keeps you cozy while also providing hot water as needed. Plug into external power and the available roof-mounted air conditioning system keeps things cool when it is hot outside.Cooking is easier and more comfortable aboard the Revel. The 2.5-cu. ft. compressor-driven refrigerator keeps things cool, while the single-burner induction cooktop allows flameless cooking inside the vehicle. The stainless sink features a fold-down faucet and cover, while the flip-up counter extension adds meal prep space. There is 21 gallons of onboard fresh water for ample off the grid camping and city water hookups to use when you pull into a full service camp spot. The design of the revel eliminates the need for on board propane with the use of an very powerful solar system, battery array and 2000W AC/DC inverter as well as an onboard diesel heat system. With the exception of the air conditioner, you will have plenty of power to camp off the grid for up to a week without charging batteries assuming you have access to the sun. After a long day of activities, simply lower the Power Lift Bed from its “up” position over the gear garage and relax on a comfortable gel foam mattress. The dinette also converts to a cross-coach sleeping platform for an overnight guest. There is also room for one person to sleep on the lower level below the power lift bed.The Revel’s wet bath with a gear closet offers a low, step-in height and a conveniently integrated shower. The cassette-style toilet swivels for comfortable access, and the bathroom includes a removable clothes hanger alongside three removable shelves for added waterproof storage. The Revel’s cab is ready to go when you are, with comfortable, supportive seats with armrests, adjustable lumbar supports and headrests, and slide/swivel/recline functions. The large screen Infotainment Center includes a backup camera, CD player, USB aux and bluetooth control to make calls and listen to music from your phone. The Revel comes complete with the latest Mercedes benz driver safety aids, including collision prevention assist and blind spot monitoring with indicator lights in the side mirrors. We take your vacation seriously. Our fleet of 30 campervans are maintained in house by our mechanic, specializing in VW repair. We give each vehicle a thorough mechanical inspection before each trip insuring your road trip to be hassle free. We have been in business for 8 years, have had 1000's of happy customers and our shop is located close to the Portland airport.

Honestly, my partner and I can't thing of a negative example to share. For a 9 day road trip with 2 dogs/2 people, the cost was fair and similar to what it would cost for lodging, eating out, transportation, entertainment. However, the freedom the camper van provided us is "priceless." I would say that my partner and I enjoy problem solving, and as a novices to this type of diesel vehicle, we felt it was part of the adventure to learn along the way. The biggest, and only, safety thing that happened was learning about what happens when the van runs low on diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) while entering the highway. While we were able to problem solve ourselves, Rico returned our text immediately. That was comforting. We learned that DEF is available at gas stations and would highly suggest purchasing one box to have in the van and replacing the fluid every 800-1000 miles (easy to do and Rico showed us how). We rented the delux version of a camper van and we would say, it didn't disappoint...it was delux. We only used the indoor shower once, but we were surprised how easy it was to use and how hot the water was (safety point #2 - the hot water doesn't have a safety for temperature and therefore can be scalding - we found that out the hard way). We hesitated to use the toilet at first, but honestly, once we did it was so easy to use and dispose of our waste that I wish we would have used it sooner (pro tip - use the bath room fan to expel smells). I feel the biggest novice mistake was packing foods in containers that could leak. The van is like a blender on rough roads and packaging that has always been safe in our kitchen cabinets are definitely not safe in a cabinet that rattles and shakes. I feel the 4x4 gave us the ability to disperse camp, even in difficult to reach places (Owyhee Canyon, Grand Staircase, Alvord Desert) which allowed us complete solitude with dogs that have anxiety (herding breeds). Along with lucking out on the weather, this trip was the adventure we were looking for. We decided, with this type of positive experience from Road Trip Oregon (maintenance, support, delux options to fit our needs, convenience of location, storage, licensing, insurance, etc), we would rather use Road Trip Oregon than to purchase a van ourselves. And to be honest, while we added 3000 miles road-tripping as far Utah, the Owyhee Canyon and Alvord Desert in Oregon was our favorite. Go Oregon!

Booking, check in, and check out was super easy. We took the camper down the entire Oregon Coast and wouldn’t recommend doing it any other way.

The guys always do a great job with making us comfortable in the various vehicles we’ve rented from them. Will definitely be coming back. Always recommend them to anyone headed to PNW. They are just solid people with a great outfit.

Predictable and reliable experience with the 2019 Mercedes Benz Revel. Oregon is an amazing place to camp and especially to boondock with a rig like this.

Very easy working with Rico. He communicated a couple of changes needing to be made, and accommodated our request as well. Van was in very nice, and clean condition. This was our first time in a camper/van and would love to do it again sometime.
